Peyton walked to the library.

"Hey, Peyton," someone said.

It was Casen, the school's quarterback. And Stephen's other best friend. Which sort of meant that he was her friend as well.

Peyton turned around.

"Hey Case," she said.

"Looking for a book?" he asked.

"No duh," she rolled her eyes before picking out a copy of Pride and Prejudice.

She had to read it for school.

"Well, nice meeting you here, but I gotta run. Coach will kill me if I'm late."

"Oh, okay! Bye then!"

Peyton sat down in a chair and started reading. It wasn't long until someone texted her.
