- Y/N POV - today is quite sad, i was invited to professor slughorn's Christmas party, yes it sounded fun but he said i could bring one guest to accompany me and i was about to ask draco but he just totally rejected it
- flashback - i walk into the slytherin common room with a smile on my face, i look around for draco but i didn't saw him, just his friend, blaise
" hey zabini! do you know where draco is?"
he looks at me and think for a moment " i think he's near the black lake or something, why?"
i sigh "nothing, i just want to ask him to be my date at slughorn's party" blaise hum in respond and say "now that you think of it, i haven't got a date either. ah well screw"
"i mean... you could always ask pansy?" i said to him with a teasing unsure tone, blaise fake gag and say "no, absolutely not. i'm not asking her out. never." i chuckle and bid him a goodbye.
i walk to the black lake and see that draco is sitting on a fallen tree and just stare at the water. i come to him from behind and hug him. he jump a bit, seems caught of guard but he relax when he saw that it was me"oh y/n, hey, you scared me" i giggle and say
"sorry dray~~" while giving him a side hug, he smiles a bit and say that it was okay
there was a moment of silent before i start speaking "so.. slughorn invited me to go to a Christmas party next week and he allowed me to bring one guess with me-"
"i'm sorry but i can't go with you" draco cut me off
i look at him, surprised "what? why?"
"i'm busy.." he answered with a professor snape monotone, i feel upset and dissapointed by him, i just give him a small nod and stand up to walk back to the castle. - end of flashback -
i walk to the common room again "pureblood" i whispered and the portrait move and revealed a huge opening that i walk through,
i sigh and plopped myself to one of the comfy couches, five minutes had passed and i just sit there and watch the green fire burning in the fire place.
i was so drawn to the fire that i didn't notice blaise come inside the common room too, that is until he plopped himself on the couch next to me
