Though a person's last words are often enough the most memorable, Spencer tried to obliterate my words from his thoughts. He spent every day after that fateful night blaming himself for the events that took place. And everyday my words still lingered, telling him otherwise.

"I forgive you."

Spencer wished my words would go away, he wished he could turn to instinct and say it was his fault. It was the question he couldn't answer, the knowledge he didn't have, he was completely speechless.

And it cost me my life.

But I forgave him. I wanted that to stick with him so he had no choice but to refrain from blaming himself for my death. That one question had determined if I would live and Spencer didn't have the answer. That one question changed both our lives...
