The birds found a boat and decided to catch a ride on it.
"Oh, this air! It's so fresh and full. Goodbye, stinky city air!" Jewel stated.
"Yeah, bye." Blu weakly waved behind them.
"Hey, thank you for doing this. I really appreciate it."
"I would do anything for you. You know that, right?"
"Of course I do." They hugged each other.
As Jewel and Blu joined everyone else at the top of the boat Carla asked Maxine a question. "Can you sing, please?"
"Do I have too?" Maxine asked her back in the same voice.
The kids nodded. Maxine sighed.
Maxine: Rising up

Later that night everyone got ready for sleep. Maxine settled herself against Nico who wrapped his wings around her.

"I can't think of anything more romantic than poisoning passengers on a moonlight cruise." Gabi stated as she was about to drop her poison into Blu's mouth.
"Stop!" Nigel told her.
"Oh." She caught it.
"That one is mine." He walked over to Blu. "Twinkle, twinkle, little Blu. How I wondered, where were you? Up above the world so high, are you ready to die?"
Nigel was about to cut Blu when he slightly stirred. "You need a breath mint."
"Even in sleep, you mock me." He brought up his sharp talons again but a loud horn sound woke everybody up.
Maxine jumped up and looked around along with the others.
Tiago was screaming and Jewel thought it was him who made the commotion.
"Tiago! Stop fooling around!"
"I didn't do anything." He tried defending himself.
"Tiago Gunderson, listen to your mother." Blu scolded him.
"Oh, man!"

The next morning the birds flew off the boat and continued their trek to the Amazon. "We're almost there, right?"
"Yeah!"
:Hey, guys! Guys! Wait up." Blu was slow.
"Come on, City Boy." Maxine called out to him
"Remember, birds of a...Never mind."
