The weeks following Isabella's passing Bailey finds herself spending a lot more time with Trevor.
They planned a beautiful service for her and were planning to spread her ashes in the field his father proposed to his mother in. And today, was the day they were going to do it.

Bailey put on a simple blush colored sundress and her white converse, checking herself one more time in the mirror before leaving to meet Trevor.

When she arrived at his house he was waiting outside for her. She parked in her usual spot and got out of her car.

"You look- beautiful." Trevor says admiring her.
"Thank you. You look very handsome." Bailey says back to him.

When they reach the field they planned on spreading his mother's ashes in Trevor hesitates to get out of the car.

"Hey." Bailey says grabbing his hand. "I'm here." She says smiling at him.
"I know." He says looking into her eyes.

Removing her hand from his Bailey opens up her door and steps out of the car.
Following suit Trevor does the same and interlaces his fingers with hers as the meet in the middle at the front of his car.

"Ready?" She asks him squeezing his hand lightly.
"Yeah." He sighs, as he takes the bag of ashes out of the box.

Opening the bag slowly he pours some ashes out of the bag and lets a tear fall from his eye.

He sniffles and closes the bag back up. Putting the remaining ashes back in the box.

"She loved you, you know." He says wrapping his arm around Bailey's waist.

"I know, I loved her too." Bailey whispers leaning her head against him.

"Bailey." Trevor says spinning her to face him.
"Yes Trevor?" She laughs at the sudden movement.

"Bailey, I know we aren't together, and I don't know exactly why you stopped talking to me after our date, but I have been absolutely miserable without you everyday. I miss you talking to me all the time, I miss you looking at with those beautiful brown eyes that look like hunny in the sunlight, I miss- I miss you." He confesses.

"I- I miss you too."

"And damnit Bailey I wish you would just talk to me and tell me- wait what?" Trevor says with a shocked look on his face.

"I said, I miss you too Trevor." Bailey smiles up at him as she caresses his cheek.

"You do?" He smiles.

"I do." Bailey says softly. Still looking into his eyes.

Just as she finishes her two words he leans down and presses his lips to hers. And in that moment, everything felt right again. Complete.

"Bailey, I have to tell you something." Trevor whispers with his forehead resting on hers.
"Hmm?" Bailey hums.
"I- Bailey-" he takes a deep breath and releases it slowly.
"Bailey, I love you. I love you so much." He whispers.
"I know, and I love you Trevor Anderson." Bailey whispers back to him.

Sharing another passionate kiss with one another the wind picks up slightly blowing some of the ashes from beneath them.

"Maybe it was a sign that Isabella was there. That her final wish was coming true." Bailey thought to herself after she opened her eyes and the watched the long grass and field flowers blow amongst the wind.
