Isaiah had picked me up already, we were currently in his car jamming out to his new album

"I love it" I said when the last song of the album ended

He chuckled "I worked hard on it glad to hear your liking it" he said smiling

"Ight here we are" he said parking the car in front of a fancy ass restaurant

"Isaiah!" I gasped

"What? Nat you deserve to get something good after being in a dark place for these 3 past months" he said looking me in the eye

"Thank you Isaiah, really thank you so much" I said admiring the building of the restaurant

"You deserve it" he smiled getting out of the car, opening my door for me

We got seated and looked at the menu

"Shit all this food looking good as hell!" Isaiah said checking out the menu rubbing his hand together

I chuckled "what you getting Nat?" He asked looking up at me

"Umm probably (meal of your choice)" I said closing my menu, placing it at the end of the table

"Mmm i think imma go with the steak" he said putting his menu on top of mine

I nodded taking a sip of my water

"How've you been ever since all of this?" He asked

"Um at first it was hell but now that you've been helping me it's been way better, I've gotten motivation to clean the house and I just feel better and shit, I still have times where I cry myself to sleep but it's gotten normal at this point, it's like you made me happy again, like someone's actually there for me" I explained with a smile

He smiled at the part I mentioned him in
"I make you happy?" He smiled

I nodded

He chuckled "I'm glad I can make you happy, it feels good knowing I'm someone's light to their darkness" he smiled

"I love you Isaiah" i said out of no where

"I love you too nat" he responded chuckling getting shy

We got interrupted with our waitress asking what we want, we told her our orders and she left writing it down on her note pad

"What are you planning with the new baby coming?" He asked taking a sip from his drink

"Uhh idk earn up some money and buy her a few things as I go along my pregnancy" I said

"I can help Pay for it" he said

"Oh no it's fine Isaiah" I said

"Nat you need to use your money for food and shit, I'll give you money for essentials and clothing and whatever want" he said playing with a stack of business cards that were on the table

"You don't have to yo-" I got interrupted by him "I don't have to but I want to" he said putting a hand on mine

"I want you to have nice things for you and your baby, not that it's essential but you know" he said looking me in the eyes

"Listen nat, i care about you, i know your struggling, I know your hurting, I'm here to numb that away, let me help out" he said lifting my chin up to look at him

"Thank you" I whispered a tear running down my face

"I love you nat i really do" he said  he leaned in kissing my lips, I kissed back

We smiled at each other

"Alright here is your steak sir and here is your (your choice of meal) ma'am" our waitress said placing our plates in front of us

"Thank you" I said nicely

"No problem, I'll be back in case you need anything" she said

I nodded as she walked off

We ate our meals as we talked a bit about personal things, we used this time to get to know each other a bit more.

He dropped me off at my apartment, i waved as he drove off

I made my way up to my apartment with a huge smile

I walked into Diego's room and looked around, I thought about a how I was going to rearrange the room

I didn't want to take out any of Diego's things so the best option was to keep his first and last worn outfits as wells as some of my favorite outfits of his,(stokeley had Gave her a box of her things from his apartment) I put his crib in the left side and all his favorite toys and all his shoes lined up all on the left side, the right side was going to be the new baby's side of the room

"And there" I said backing up to get a good look around the room

I built a crib I had from when Diego was just a newborn and put it on the new baby's side as well as some decorations and more girly things

I layed down in on my bed, I was exhausted so went right to bed not changing out of what I was wearing from eariler
