Ten Nights ( moonsun )

F i r s t N i g h t

I can only visit solar on the evening because of my schedules but that doesn't stop me from spending my time with her.

'Ten nights...'

In the morning, either her parents or her sister or even her manager is the one accompanying her. While me and my members took turns on watching her every evening.

And now is my turn.

But sadly she is sleeping.

"Did you know Yong, that something funny happened today?"

I asked her as I sat myself on the same stool I had sat before. I hold her hand and place the back of her palm on my cheek.

'It's cold'

'But it is still the same hand I once held before.'

'Same old calluses on her band because of her various activities.'

'But i love it'

I close my eyes for a moment to walk down memory lane just for a bit.

"Byul.."

There she is, her sweet voice that sounds music to my ears especially if my name rolled off her tongue.

"Yong.." i said "you are awake"

She smiled at me as I helped her position herself on a sitting position on the bed.

"Of course i am awake." she replied

"Why would i be sleeping if my favorite hamster is here"

There she goes, giving me hints I couldn't even begin to comprehend.

"But you're sleeping earlier"

"Nahh i was just about to sleep actually, but then i heard the door open and i recognised the smell"

She looked at me while I just raised my eyebrows.

"What smell?" i asked

"Your smell,you pabo"

She laughs with her signature dolphin laugh and God, how i miss that ear shattering laugh of hers.

"Yahhh Solar-shii, you are murdering my ears."

"yahhhh" she shouted at me

I just laughed at her annoyed look.

'That's why i love teasing you Yong, it's because i want your attention to me'

"Yahh enough of that"

"Okay"

"So would you tell me what funny thing happened to you earlier?"

"Ohh yeah about that"

And then we talked and laughed for hours until it hit midnight.

"You should go Byul"

"No, i can--"

"You still have an early schedule tomorrow"

"I can sleep here Yong" i said

"But--"

"And i will just wake up early and head out"

She looks at me in a motherly way which I really love and hate at the same time. She looks at the couch across her bed and looks back at me again and to the clock on the wall.

"Fine"

"Yessss" as i celebrated my victory

Well I am kinda used to winning against Solar. She always bent on my request for her.

'But sadly---'

She yawned as her eyes became sleepy all of a sudden.

"You should sleep now Yong" i said "we can't afford to let that heart of yours be tired, right"

"Right..." she replied sounding sleepy

"Goodnight Byul" she mumbles

I tuck her in and then she is off to dreamland.

"Still the same Yong i had known for years, ehh"

I look back at the clock once more and then back to her sleeping form. I kiss her forehead and position myself on a 'little bit' comfortable position on this small couch.

I took a glance at her and whispered.

"Goodnight Yong"

I let out a sigh and also headed to dreamland.
