- This story follows the later parts of FE Path of Radiance, but the game's plot is sort of just in the background, and I have changed some of the plot/game elements to better suit the story. So, there will be some inaccuracies/things that don't happen in the game.
- Because Ike does not have any actual romance pairing, I tried my best to extrapolate how he would behave romantically, and what he might like to help craft the OC in this story. The major components of this thought process that I want to point out are as follows: (1) Ike and Soren are very close, so I gave the OC some similarities to Soren, (2) in the games, Ike has the earth affinity, so I made the OC earth-based to play into that little detail, (3) I suspect that Ike would want a feminine/less aggressive personality type as a partner given the personalities/roles of the important women in his life (his sister and late mother), but also someone that is competent in battle, shares some of his world views, and has a drive to improve, so I strived to combine those traits.
