Melissa's POV
After I changed and blow dried my hair. I went downstairs to the kitchen to find Sophie preparing lunch.
Sophie: I'm making your favorite grilled cheese sandwich. Joe said you would like it
Melissa: thanks Sophie *sits down at the island table* ow!
Sophie: *turns to her* you okay?
Melissa: um... *blush* yeah I'm fine, where's Joe?
Sophie: he went to get dress again
Melissa: okay, um... I need the computer to do my schooling. I have a paper due on Sunday
Sophie: you got summer work or something?
Melissa: We don't have summer breaks, this year remember? We have to make up for what we missed
Sophie: oh yeah, well the computer is over their, you can use that one until we can get you a laptop
Melissa: thanks Sophie, can I go work on it now?
Sophie: sure, here's your lunch with no crust
Melissa: thanks
I went over to the computer and logged in and worked on my school work and started eating my lunch as I worked.
Later that night, I got a call from Harley and she said.
Harley: where have you been? I've been calling you
Melissa: sorry, different time zones now. I told Joe I was going to bed early because I'm still jet lagged, what are you still doing up at 3am, it's late for you
Harley: I didn't know how else to reach you, I thought your phone was taken away
Melissa: sorry
Harley: I can't believe you actually ran away from home, you're so lucky to have that privilege to do that
Melissa: sadly I wasn't too lucky. Joe spanked me when I got here
Harley: Joe? As in Joe Jonas?
Melissa: yeah... my brother
Harley: sorry it's hard to picture your brother spanking you
Melissa: well he is the adult now and I live with him now for a short matter of time
Harley: maybe it's good you and you're dad are taking a break from each other
Melissa: yeah maybe, plus Joe is not as strict as dad is, so he'll probably lay off a bit with me
Harley: I wish I had a hot attractive older brother
Melissa: Harley...
Harley: sorry, forgot, no fangirling in front of you
Melissa: thank you
Joe: *pokes head in* What are you doing up?
Melissa: sorry, was I being too loud?
Joe: you're okay, just came to check in on you
Melissa: just talking to Harley
Joe: isn't it 3am for her?
Melissa: yeah but I was asleep when she called me, I just now returned her call and forgot about the time zone
Joe: alright, I know it's quarantined but you still need some rest. I don't want you to affect your sleep schedule
Melissa: okay Joey, goodnight love you
Joe: love you too, go to bed...
Melissa: I will...
Joe rolled his eyes and closed the door and Melissa said to Harley.
Melissa: so... where were we again?
Harley: we were talking about how hot your brother is
Melissa: Harley!
Harley: sorry...
Melissa: change subject
Harley: sorry...
Melissa: so... what's you been up too?
The girls talked until Harley's dad told her to go to bed and threatened to take her phone away if she didn't, we both said goodnight to each other and hung up and I went to bed myself.
