To my Pen-Pal,
The name’s Watson, Emma Watson. I’m eighteen and I am surrounded by idiots. For instance, my boyfriend, Rupert, just made his pen explode, and has somehow managed to make his ginger hair almost entirely blue. I’m not even joking. Also, a kid called Harry just meowed. I swear. Your class is physically incapable of being weirder than mine.
At first, I didn’t really want to do this project; it seemed a little childish, really. I mean, what am I meant to write about? The weirdos I’m forced to interact with every day? Personal, private stuff about myself? No, thanks.
But the idea’s grown on me. So hi. As I’ve already said, I’m Emma. I love acting and studying (I’m weird, I know—I have no social life), my best friend is a girl called Evanna and I don’t know how she puts up with me, my favourite flavour of ice cream is cookie dough and I recently cut my hair really short.
