Lord i was shocked at who had opened the door it was Deonte my soul was snatched i felt like walking away coz i was in no mood to be meet his eyes honestly with everything I do he stares his never said one word to me only thing he does is eye me down . "Well im Thembalethu but people call me Hope coz they can pronounce it" I told them while taking i looked up and noticed they were still staring.
"Geez can y'all stop staring making me uncomfortable "
"Nah baybeh I like the view i cant keep em of you" said Deonte This nigga finally spoke to me and i just blushed "Well......." Before I could carry on Ms Tasha called us to come eat i stood up fast walking to the dining room was getting tired of these niggas.
This woman wants me to be her daughter in law so i can keep coming back she should have just asked to adopt me not buy me with food. Tonight we were having a feast. She had all the basic food I always wished I could taste chicken Alfredo, fried chicken, wings , steak pie and so much more when i sat down I instantly started stacking my plate not caring who was looking and said my own prayer they can do there own thing cant wait on people who are being slow when they can see the foods about to get cold we don't waste food round here. I looked up they were all just standing there looking at me with smirks like what y'all looking at me for what you all should be worried about is getting a full plate before i dish a plate to take home coz i love me leftovers in the morning ( this just me i rather eat the left overs than eggs toast or cereal).
Finally they started eating we ate over small talk and mom talking about our country.
"Nonny when are you leaving back to SA" Tasha asked mama
"What you mean leaving" Deonte asked confused the others looked at him with smirks.
" Well I leave in 3 weeks coz i only took 2 MONTHS leave at both my jobs im a teacher by day and a doctor ter by night so its a tough schedule "
"So wait you and Hope were just visiting then why did y'all buy a house? " he asked looking sad.
"I'm leaving alone i leave after her 18th birthday I wanted to make sure she had settled in with school and work . Originally Hope is supposed to be in university but they made her go back to do 6 months of 12th grade here to help familiarize her with the different ways of studying and subjects she stays here for as long as she wants her visa is a 10 year visa once it expires she renews it if she gets married she automatically becomes a US citizen." Mah explained.
"We have a new family member we finna be seeing more of you can't have my sis staying all alone matter of fact im moving in " Dallas said and Devon , Deon and Dylan agreed
We all laughed the whole night until it was time to go home.
I enjoyed tonight I even got closer with the boys they not stuck up as I thought.
A/n Could.there be a drama brewing or is it just love I cant wait this is the start of the relationship between Hope and the Miller's but one question is this gonna survive the drama that Deontes hoeish ways bring.
