"Sir, Miss Asher on line three," Hans' secretary said on the other line.

"I'll take it." He heard a click then came the sound of her.

"Hans," nahihikbing bati ni Asher sa kabilang linya.

"Hey, princess. Why are you crying?"

"Si Gerald kasi..."

"What did that bastard do to you?" galit na agad siya.

"Nothing. I just....it's just....I can't...."

"Princess..."

"I don't think I can take this emotion, Hans. Ang gulo-gulo," pagsusumbong ni Asher.

"Hey, hey. Remember what I said? Take it easy," pag-aalo niya. "Ikaw kasi, sa kanya ka pa na-inlove. Kung ako ba ang sinasagot mo, sisiguraduhin kong hindi ka iiyak."

"Yan ka na naman eh, kuya," Asher said emphasizing the last word.

"Aray naman! Wag mo nang isampal sa mukha ko na wala na talaga akong pag-asa sa yo. Patay ako nito kay Mama, eh. Di ko alam ang sasabihin sa kanya."

Natahimik si Asher sa kabilang linya, patuloy lang ito sa paghikbi.

"O siya tahan na. You'll be fine, don't worry. Basta kapag sinaktan ka ng lalakeng yun, isang sigaw ka lang, lilipad ako papunta sa yo."

"Sino ka, si Superman?"

"Kitten, it's not that I don't care about what you feel right now, but, wala talaga akong maipapayo sa'yo. Unfortunately for you, pareho lang kami ni Anderson. All we know is how to please women, handling them while you're whining is not our expertise."

"Ewan ko sa 'yo Hans Angelo Tan."

"But I have such a broad shoulders to cry on like Superman," patuloy pang pagbibiro niya.

"I can't imagine si Superman na singkit," pakikisakay nang biro ni Asher.

"Yan, tumatawa ka na somehow. Pwede na akong bumalik sa trabaho ko."
