I saw inks kingdom in the distance so I started to swim there hoping that they can help I looked down at nightmare he had a painful expression on his face that broke my heart more I held him close and tight scared that I might loose him at any moment of I'm not careful his eye sockets started to open a little His eye lights where dim and not bright like they used to be... "cross....it h-hurts...." he said just barely a whisper tears where coming down his face "I know where almost there just hang on....please" I replied whispering the last part the castle got closer and closer nightmares breathing slowed witch scared me more that I might loose him the guards looked shocked but let us in One lead us to Ink

"King ink" the guard said ink looked at him "ye-" he must have seen nightmare "oh dear what happened cross" ink said as he swam over to us in a hurry "I-I not important we need help" I said ink nodded and called for a medic they came as soon has they heard ink they saw nightmare and there faces went pale they took nightmare and treated him as if he was going to shatter at any minute I was about to follow but was pulled back by Ink "what happened cross" he spoke in a worried and cold tone I sighed "it was the night after the ball I don't know how he got there but some how my dad took ahold of him and stabbed his tail I tried to stop the bleeding as much as I could" I ranted but got shut up by ink "ok cross Judging by the wound it will take more than a couple of days for it to heal you may stay for as long as nightmare needs to" he gave me a reassuring smile I just nodded the guard that brought us to ink showed me to my room

I opened the door to my room and sat on the bed I started to cry again just thinking of nightmare being hurt and how it's my fault he is I sobbed into a pillow for about 30 minutes before a maid came in and told me I could see nightmare for a little bit I nodded and followed her to a room she opened the door then left I swam in slowly closing the door behind me nightmare was on a hospital bed with a bunch on things hooked up to him he had multiple UVz and I looked at his heart rate it was slow but not very slow that he would die in a minute he had a nose tube to help him breath

The sight was heartbreaking but I got a chair and brought it to the side of the bed and sat down looking at him all this damage that he had was caused by me his souls was dim a dull just like his eye lights where I grabbed his hand gently and sighed "I'm....so..so..sorry....baby" I spoke in a hushed tone I just wish this would end and we could be a happy family and  you never got hurt I'm so sorry nightmare

I looked down still holding nightmares hand when I felt his hand weakly squeeze mine I looked up in shock but gratefulness I smiled and squeezed back in reassurance

"I love you so so much nighty" I whispered
"I'm sorry this happened"
