Unfamiliar Feeling Called, Love?

KISHA'S PoV

"Tae." I was startled nang nagkasalubong kami ni Jhared sa shelves. My head hit his dibdib nang mahina. Nandito kami sa library for a small research sa isang subject, our other classmates were also here. I was actually avoiding him but nakakainis lang kasi ang hirap ma-achieve.

He was looking at me, with his blank expressions ulit. Saglit kaming nagkatinginan not until sinamaan ko siya ng tingin and was about to pass by him nang tinawag tinawag niya ang pangalan ko.

"Kisha." I remained nakatalikod sa kanya.

"About what happened the other day, sa bahay, I'm sorry."

I did not word out at sa halip halip ayhinayaan lang siyang mag-talk.

"I wasn't on my right consciousness that time, but I know you cleaned up some of the trashes and placed me on the sofa. How would I thank you?"

I crossed my arms and faced him, "Don't mention it, it's for drinking the beer that was intended for me. Don't take it a big deal, sinapian lang ako ng good spirit that time."

Yes that's true, ewan ko nga kung ba't ko ginawa yun? Maybe out of gratitude? Waw, when was I even grateful to him?

"Kung may nasabi man ako when I was drunk, sana pagpasinsyahan mo na."

"So when will you like me?"

Umasim yata face ko nang na-remember ko na naman yun. Hays, it's been hunting me lately, punyeta.

Buti nalang talaga he immediately passed out after that so I had no reason to answer that.

"What about a lunch treat?" he offered, natawa ako nang mapakla and asnwered, "NO."

"If there's something you could least do to me, yun ay ang manahimik. Dumistansya ka from me." tinarayan ko pa siya. Wait, why am I even talking to him now? Tsk.

The truth is, he's been bothering me lately. Like literally he's been gumagambala sa'kin and I don't know why. Hindi ko naa-understand ang self ko kung bakit sometimes I just felt this unfamiliar feeling inside when he's around. I don't know if it's discomfort or what but he's really sometimes making me nervous for no apparent reason. Aaarrgh, Zaxisha what's nangyayare sa'yo?

I sat back on my seat after getting the aklat that our group needed.

"Here it is, nakita n'yo na ba yung mga important research phrases sa ibang books?" I asked my groupmates when I got back.

"Yeah, now we're only down to our conclusion." Hannah answered, katabi niya si Harvey.

"Okay. Let me just do it nalang." sabi ko naman at kinuha na kay Hannah ang laptop na niu-use niya.

Harvey and I got got an eye contact. I don't know but I just felt awkward kasi hindi man lang niya ako nginitian like the way he used to be before, nor hindi na nga siya madlas nangungulit sa akin lately. It seems like lumalamig siya sa akin. We're friends naman eh but does he have some problema with me? I don't know lang ha but he's being like this days after that party, after he got drank and was about to ask me a question.

In the end I only smiled at him awkwardly, bahala na siya.

NAKAPAG-SWIPE na ang karamihan sa kaniya-kaniyang library card sa monitorig machine for sign out. Now I'm heading to the shoe rack section to wear back my shoes nang nadatnan ko sina Mayu at Shami doon.

"Shami una na'ko, sa labas ng buidling nalang kita hihintayin." I heard Mayu said while I was heading towards where my pair of sapatos was placed.

"Okay Mayu." I heard Shami replied as I started to put one of my sapatos on.
