I've decided I want wings.

Flying over the dark kingdom at night, seeing all the lights in the streets and some people having fun and dancing is a beautiful sight, but when I look up I struggle to catch my breath, the stars shine so much brighter here, and I can see so many more than I could from the farm, it's the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. "you enjoying the view?" I hear Evander ask softly like he's trying not to disturb me, "its-it's nothing like I have ever seen before" I manage to say breathlessly, I can feel his eyes on me so I pull my eyes away from the view and look to him and see an equally as beautiful one. "you never told me your name" I chuckle realising that I haven't, "I'm Asta" he hums and I can feel it in his chest. "when will we get to your home?" I decide to ask, "why are you getting sick" I scoff and shake my head, "I don't think I ever want to get down" I say truthfully.

"unless you grow wings, I don't think that's possible" I glare at him playfully which luckily, he understood and I feel his chest vibrate. "we are here" he says and descends, when we land, we are at some gates, why didn't we just go straight to the door?

When we walk through the gates, I look to see the biggest house I have ever seen, it looks like everyone else's on the street but much bigger, "you don't have a castle?" he shakes his head, "how come?" I risk asking.

"I never liked what they stood for" he doesn't elaborate so I don't push him on it. When we get to the front door he walks straight in, with me behind him.

I look around and see how beautiful the inside is, just like everything else about the kingdom, "are you hungry?" I nod still admiring everything, we wind up in the kitchen and I don't see any servants, it makes sense since it's the middle of the night, but normally the kingdoms have night servants just in case they have guests.

Evander starts making me some food and I stand in shock; I've never even seen Aeron in a kitchen never mind making me something to eat. "here it's the best I can do, we have more food coming in the morning" I smile and take the plate from him, "it's fine, thank you" I smile and start to eat whist leaning on the table.

We sit there in comfortable silence whilst he also eats, when we are both done, he takes our plates and cleans them, I offer to help but he says he's capable of washing two plates. When he leads me upstairs it's to a room that he says is mine for the night which I happily take especially with the size of the bed. "goodnight Asta" he says from the door. I turn and smile widely, "goodnight Evander"
