the next morning, you woke up to Hanyu nearly stepping on your face

"What the heck?!"

"Gou Ji's threw up again and I can't find my stuffed toy that used to help me when I was little..."

"the...the elephant on your bed?"

"No!...I-I-I still use that one..."

you giggle

"Well, I saw a couple in your closet the other day"

"Thanks, Li Fang"

you went across the hall to Gou Ji's room. the poor thing was pale as snow and coughing like crazy

"Xiao Xiao Gou~ Look what I found~"

he hands her a little stuffed dog

"thank you Uncle Jia Bao."

"not as good as the elephant you sleep with at night though..."

"Lin Li Fang!"

"What elephant?"

"Oh nothing, nothing. Your auntie isn't thinking straight."

"Hey, I'm going to go to the store. You need anything?"

"Um...can you get Gou Ji some more medicine please?"

"yea, sure. let me just get ready and I'll get ready."

you got ready and walked to the near by super market

"Good morning."

you greeted the workers as you entered. you grabbed a basket and walked around the store. you grabbed some fruits and vegetables. As you were heading over to the pharmacy area of the store, you saw Mingrui's face over the short shelves. he was looking down at the products on the shelf, so he wasn't really paying attention to what was in front of him.

you decided to mess with him and flick the top of his head.

"Ow. What the-"

you giggled

"Li Fang..."

"What are you doing here so early?"

"Bandages..."

he holds up his hand, which was wrapped with blood soaked paper towels and plastic wrap, what you assume was an attempt at a make-shift bandage wrap.

"Oh my god!"

you went around the self and into his aisle to get a better look at it.

"GouGou. You need more that just some bandages. what happened?"

"We tried giving Xiao FangFang his medicine, but it gets harder every time."

"He did this to you?"

"not on purpose of course."

"Well, you're going to want to disinfect it first with some rubbing alcohol."

"Isn't that going to sting?"

"Yes, but's it'll keep it clean. then just put on some ointment and a proper bandage on. Not these 1 dollar Iron Man stickers."
