you sat down on your sheets on the floor

you saw your brother standing at the doorway

"She was released this morning."

you hugged her and kissed her all over her face

you picked her up and took her to the living room

"Go get your presents."

she sat down next to the tree

"look at all the presents!"

you looked at your brother and realized him and his wife were sitting on opposite ends of the living room, not even looking at each other. there was a knock on the door so you decided to take the opportunity to leave the awkward situation

you opened the door to Mingrui and his sister
