Turns out, the spell worked

To say Percy was annoyed was an understatement.

The person who has always been there for him and who he thought he loved has been controlling his mind and stripping him of his free will.

And now, the only two people who aren't under his girlfriends spell were saying things about how this was an alternate timeline. So to sum it up, they were crazy.

Even if he wanted to talk to the two crazy people, he couldn't because of his girlfriends stupid spell.

So yeah, he was annoyed.

The worst thing was, even though he was out of the spell, he still heard a voice in the back of his head telling him to run back to his girlfriend.

And he wanted to listen.

'Snap out of it' percy told himself.

But that didn't stop those thoughts. Every time he would see piper, he would think his normal thoughts of how beautiful she looked and how he should be right next to her.

Ugh. Why was this so hard?

He just needed to clear his head. And the best place to do that was the woods. Even he knew the sea was too stormy.

As he walked through the woods he heard two voices. Percy darted behind a tree and listened.

"How are we supposed to know if he even realized? What if she's back under her spell?" A voice he recognized as Thalia said.

"I don't know thals, but percy will wake up. He has too," Leo (he was guessing) said.

Percy decided now would be the time to go reveal himself, smiling as he walked up to the two crazy people in front of him.

"Hey guys,"

The moment he said that, he felt a searing pain in his chest, almost like his insides were being torn apart. He hurled over in pain, screaming slightly.

Both of the people in front of him rushed over, helping him to the he hind until his pain subsided.

"Percy, what happened?" Leo asked as soon as Percy was shaking.

The son of Poseidon opened his mouth to explain when he realized pipers spell. Thalia seemed to notice the small change in his actions, and questioned him further.

"Did piper do this to you?"

Percy nodded, a small pain in his chest causing him to stop. Communication of any type, that's what piper had said.

"Percy, I'm so sorry," leo said, patting him on the back.

Percy closed his eyes for a small moment, thinking about his life once again. He couldn't talk to the only people who weren't under his girlfriends spell.

'But you could go back to your loving girlfriend who was just hurt, she's waiting for you'

It was the voice. Again.

But this time, Percy would listen.
