Mixed Up : Narnia / Camelot

Chapter 13

Edmund's pov

I wake up early in the morning to go and see my sister . I change my clothes really fast and walk to Gaius home , hoping that my sister already woke up . When I get there Gaius is already awake and has a troubled look in his face

"What happened ?" I ask

"Can we please wait till Lucy comes " he says

I nod and wait impatiently for Lucy to wake up . After 2 hours of waiting Lucy comes and Gaius starts talking

" Your sister was in great condition yesterday , her breathing was fine ... but not today . She kind of woke up but started coughing and coughing and then fell back again . I looked at her wound and saw that the sword she was injured with was poisoned . I tried giving her all that I have , but nothing worked her possibilities of waking up are 20% . If you ask me that is very low . I really did everything I could but her chances of waking up right now is that she has magical powers and the Druids could help her or just leave her in the hands of god . "

I feel my eyes well up with tears and immediately start crying a sea . Lucy just broke down crying with me too and hugged me . We have been crying for about 20 minutes when Arthur comes in and asks what's going on . Gaius tells him the story and he seems really worried too . I know my sister has magical powers but I know better than not to tell anyone since magic in Camelot is forbidden. I stand up and say

" I don't know if my sister has magical powers but I will do whatever it takes to bring her back , even if it's my own life ." I say , obviously lying about the magical powers part but not by any other thing. Emma is the light to Narnia she is our light in ever journey . I stand up ready to go when Arthur stops me

"Wait you don't know this place let me at least go with you , after all she is my cousin " he says . I nod but before that I kneel down to Lucy and tell her

" Whatever you do don't get out of this house , and Gaius please take care of her " they both nod and Lucy gives me a super tight hug .

We get out and get on our horses when I see Arthur spotting one of the servants with lovely eyes . I decide I will ask him later . We are half way through our journey when I decide to open my mouth .

"So Arthur who was that servant that you were eyeing huh ? "

"Uhh no one " he answers in a nervous tone

"Oh please it was someone , come on spill it " I say

"Okay but promise you won't tell "

"I promise "

" Okay well her name is Guinevere , she is absolutely beautiful . I know I have no chances with her since I'm a prince and she is just a simple servant but I know .... I - I just feel like that's going to change" he tells me . I nod and tell him

"Well you know , you can always change things once you're king "

He nods and smiles at me . After some 2 hours Arthur tells me we have gotten there . I nod and get off my horse .

"Look Arthur if my sister has magical powers please do not tell your father "

"Of course I wouldn't "

We walk in and the Druids appear .

"Umm hello I'm prince Edmund and - " that's as far as I get before one Druid interrupts me and tells me

" I know who you are , you come here looking for help to save your sister . We would be pleased to help but we would not go to Camelot , it's to risky for us . " I nod and Arthur agrees . We get in our horses and get to Camelot for sun set .
