                                                    "A Guest and a Graduation"

Dylan’s POV:

Graduation was getting closer and I was starting to get nervous. I knew that life was about to completely change and much as I was excited I was scared to death. High school was about to be over. It was time to start getting serious about things.

“You ok,” Hannah asked me as she walked into my room and sat on the bed beside me.

“Yeah. Just thinking about everything that’s about to happen,” I told her honestly.

“I’m excited for it,” she told me with a small smile.

“Me to but I’m scared,” I told her.

            “Why?”

“I’m going to have to get a job and make sure I do well in school. Then once we graduate I’ll become a provider for you and maybe even kids. That’s a lot of pressure,” I told her as I felt myself start to sweat again.

“You’ve got me to help you. We’re a team. We just have to stay focused and dedicated,” she told me as she put her head in the crook of my neck.

“I know. This feeling will pass,” I told her with a smile as I ran my hand down her arm.

“Yes it will. You really need to be worrying about Graduation tonight and what you’re gonna need for the competition,” she told me.

“I’m working on it. I just hate shopping,” I told her.

“If you make a list I can go get the stuff,” she told me.

            “Really?”

“Of course. You know I love to help,” she said smiling at me sweetly.

“I love you,” I told her before I leaned down to give her a quick kiss.

“I love you to. Now I’m gonna go downstairs and make us some breakfast,” she said as she got up and walked out of my room. I sat there for another minute before I got up and threw a shirt on. I didn’t have anywhere to be so I decided to just keep my sweats on.

Once I was finished I walked out of my room and down the stairs into the kitchen. Hannah was at the stove pouring batter into a pan. When I walked in she turned and gave me a small smile. It made me extremely happy every time I thought about the fact that I could be seeing that sight every day for the rest of my life.

“What are you grinning at,” she asked me when she caught me staring.

“I was just thinking about how I could get used to this,” I said as I walked over and slid my arms around her waist.

“Get used to what,” she asked quietly.

“To you. To having you make me breakfast. To waking up to you every morning. To loving you for the rest of my life,” I told her as I spread kisses over her face.

“Sometimes you say the sweetest things,” she said with a big sigh as she wound her arms around my neck.

“I never thought I would be a sap but you bring it out in me,” I told her with a light laugh. Before she could say anything we heard the door open and close.
