It's Thursday night time for the postponed show. Elisa arrived home Wednesday night. I have to say out if my two sisters, I like Elisa better. She at least cares about me a little bit.

Before the show I was a little stressed out and I think Braden could tell.

"Want to go ice skating by the river?" He asked. "It'll be fun I promise."

"Yeah, that sounds good." I replied. I checked the time on my phone, we had an hour until the show started.

"Hey" I said I wanted to play a song for you. "

Braden looked at me in suprise. "Really?" He said, a soft smile on his face.

"It's called Beautiful Imperfections" I said as I picked up my guitar.

"I'd love to hear it." He replied.

I started singing.

Verse 1:

I wake up in the morning

It's one of those dark rainy days

I take a deep breath

And put a smile on my face

Chorus:

I won't let my imperfections get the best of me

Cause I know that's not what you want to see

You always say "you're not alone I struggle too"

Cause I fell like I was on my own, but now I know

I will make it through

Verse 2:

When I struggle with depression and anxiety

I know you're always there for me

There's a lot of negative things I'd rather say

But your videos and posts help me get through the day

Chorus:

I won't let my imperfections get the best of me

Cause I know that's not what you want to see

You always say "you're not alone I struggle too"

Cause I fell like I was on my own, but now I know

I will make it through

He listened quietly, giving all his attention to me.

"How'd you like it?" I ask when I finished.

He reached over, pulling me into a hug, being careful of my guitar. "It was amazing." He whispered.

"Sabrina!" Mom calls.

I pull away slowly saying "I'll be right back." Setting down the guitar carefully, I went to find mom.

"What Mom?" I call

"Are you ready to go?" She asks.

"Yes." I say.

"Great. Get Braden then we can head out." She said, typing something into her phone.

"Braden!" I call

He walked up to us a few seconds later. "It's time to head over now." Mom said.

"Cool" he said kissing my cheek.

My face grew warm at the sudden kiss. I smiled at him, before taking his hand in mine. "Are we forgetting anything before we head out Mom?" I asked still smiling.

"Nope." She says.

"Ok, see ya in a bit."
