It was in the middle of the night and I was up looking for a job I couldn't sleep cause I couldn't stop thinking about my siblings and I hate depending on Meek I don't want him to think that I'm using him

He has done so much for me and I'll never be able to repay him back

He's too good for me

Meek kept snoring I gave him a little perk on the cheek

"Sleep tight Mr protector" I said smiling

I continued looking for a job and found nothing maybe I should opened my own beauty salon when I get my degree

I stayed up and watched Netflix until I got sleepy

I was massaging Meek's feet I read on the internet that it is good for someone in his condition and hopefully it can help him recover very soon cause I know that he hates being on a wheelchair

"I still say you have ugly feet" I said

"I know you thinking about painting my nails" he said

"You know me so well" I said smirking

"When it ain't happening babygirl this man doesn't do polished nails" he said

"If you don't want nail polish the we have to do a pedicure and maybe I can make your eyebrows on fleek" I said

"Go do alla that to Nicole"

"Nicole has a life" I said

"I also have a life it's hard being Robert Williams you know"

"What's hard about being you? You have a girlfriend that loves you madly" I said

"That's the thing, she does weird things to me and kisses me all the time like I'm some toddler then tries to turn me into a beauty queen" he complained

"If I can't play with you, who am I supposed to play with?"

"Officer Meeky, that's why I bought you that teddy" he said in a duh tone

"Boy don't talk to me like that, put some respect on my name before I call my nigga to beat you up" I said

"Whatever" he said rolling his eyes and flipping his invisible hair

I laughed so hard

I put his feet on the couch and sat on top of him

"Are you breaking up with me?" He asked

"No I just want you to know that you are loved and appreciated, that's all" I said

"You're also loved and appreciated, no girlfriend would've done what you did for me and I know I chose the right woman" he said

I blushed

"You told me that you only approached me because of Nina" I said

He laughed

"You still remember that?" He asked

"Yes I don't forget Meek" I replied

"I guess Nina led me to the right woman, I wanna marry you Onika" he said
