I walked into my office and put all my things on the table I sat down and started eating my breakfast that Nicki made for me this morning Sasha walked in then greeted me she put her diary on the table then left she probably on her periods with her moody self I finished my breakfast she then walked in

"Hey Robert"

"Hey Sash" I said putting my first lunch box away

"I see you eating breakfast, you stopped by the coffee shop?" She asked sitting down

"Nah, Nicki made breakfast for me" I said smiling

"You love this girl don't you?" She asked

"I really do"

"The question is, does she feel the same way about you?" She asked

"What's that supposed to mean?" I asked with a frown

"You haven't been dating for a month but she's already sleeping over at your house, making breakfast for you, what's next? Is she gonna move in with you?" She asked

"Yo I don't like your tone, ever since I started dating Nicki you've been on some shit, what's your problem?" I asked

"You really don't know who this girl is" she said

"I know her, she's my fuckin' girlfriend" I semi yelled

"She's a spy for heaven's sake"

"Jeremy told me you got a crush on me but I ain't think it was this serious, stop trying to ruin my relationship I fuckin' love that girl" I yelled

"She's Robert Maraj's daughter dummy" she yelled

Her whole face was red

"What?" I asked

"I'm sorry but it's true" she said

"Stop lying! I don't love you don't you get it" I yelled 

"I know but I'm trying to protect you she's using you" she said

"Do you have proof?" I asked

"Her surname is Maraj she was born on the 8th of December 2000 if you don't believe me go look into his file, Meek you're my best friend and I wouldn't wanna see you get hurt I know that you really love her" she said

"Yeah right" I went to my computer and clicked on the database

I went through Robert's file from the past and every small arrest and it was true I can't believe that the love of my life is that criminal's daughter I went to the front desk

"Emma did those two guys who were arrested on Friday for drug possession still here?" I asked

"Yes, their bail hearing is tomorrow" she said

I nodded and went to their cell I might be breaking the law but I need to know the truth

"Yo I need a favour from y'all" I said

"What are we gonna get in return?" One of them asked

"What do you want in return?" I asked

"How about 2 large big Macs" he said

"Cool, so does Robert have a daughter?" I asked

They looked at each other then nodded

"Is she in trouble?" The other one asked

"No, what's her name?" I asked

"Her real name is Onika but they call her Nicki" he said

"Oh and he also has another daughter by the name of Nina she probably 4 or 5 man she talk a lot" he said

"Ard thanks, imma get you ya things by lunch time" I said then left

She was probably sent by her father I'm really disappointed

Nicki POV

I was helping my mom peel off the carrots she says she's making a healthy dinner for her family I don't think JoJo will agree with that he prefers being unhealthy

"I'm glad schools finally opened" I said

"Why? You don't love having your siblings around?" She asked

"I do but Nina's obsessed with me" I said

"She's not obsessed she's a girly girl and I can tell she got that from you"

"I know but it doesn't mean that she has to follow me around and stalk me"

"She isn't stalking you she's lucky to have a big sister like you"

"More like deputy mother" I said

"A very great deputy mother, so tell me how are things between you and the boyfriend?" She asked

"Why are you calling him the boyfriend?" I asked

"Cause you never tell me stuff" she said

"Well it's going great, I made breakfast and lunch for him this morning" I said

"Oh no, slow down Nika I don't want him to marry my baby so soon" she said shaking her head

"What are you on about?" I asked confused

"If you make food for him regularly he'll end up asking us for your hand in marriage and I don't think I'm prepared for that" she said getting emotional

Mothers are dramatic

"Okay mom chill, it's just breakfast and the relationship is still new for him to be asking for my hand in marriage" I said

"Okay, what did y'all do last night?" She asked

Nosey

"We made Sunday lunch then played board games"

"And?"

"And what Ma?" I asked

"Did y'all kiss?" She asked

I nodded and she cheesed

"Oh Nika you're finally a normal teenager"

"Why are you more excited than me?"

"I want to be like those mothers on TV who are best friends with their kids, you know"

"Mrs Maraj you need to start hanging out with your friends a bit more" I said

"But you are my friends, you, JoJo and Nina are my peeps" she said acting like a hood nigga

"You've been quiet this whole time, are you okay?" I asked Meek

"Yeah I'm fine"

"Is it work or personal?" I asked

"A bit of both" he answered side eyeing me

"Well maybe we can exercise or something, I don't like seeing you like this" I said grabbing his arm and laying my head on it

"Don't worry babe, I'm gonna be fine" he kissed my forehead 

We were taking a walk at the park we met

"They will regret messing with me" he said

I looked at him and he had a frown

I wonder who it is and what they did to him
