Nicki POV

I was writing down a list of all the food I want Meek to buy cause hospital food sucks there's no salt and little sugar in everything I was done writing and I went over it again just to make sure that everything is in there after making sure I gave the list to Meek 

"Is this a grocery list or a letter to the president?" He asked reading it

"You'll decide" I answered

"It look like my card gon' decline" he said

"It better not" I said

"Ard lemme go buy the whole store" he said

He came over to me and kissed my cheek

"I love you too baby" I said as he walked out

I closed my eyes Meek's gonna be gone for a long period of time

I heard the door open I opened my eyes and it was my dad he slowly closed the door

"I see you haven't learnt your lesson" he said

I just looked at him

"Damn they messed up your face but I guess it wasn't that bad cause you still with the nigga" he said

"You the one who told me to fall in love with him" I said

"I didn't say choose him over your family" he yelled at me

"I chose what's right I'm tired of watching you destroy people's lives" I yelled back at him

He grabbed my neck and tightened his hand

"Don't make me do something I will regret, leave this boy and come back home I know you don't wanna get accidentally hit by a bus or a truck, so do what's best for you and everyone else" he said in his low dangerous voice

I nodded quickly he let my neck go

"I don't wanna come here again" he said and left

I couldn't hold the tears in I just cried.

How can my own father be so cruel?

A nurse came in and I quickly wiped my tears

"Is everything okay ma'am? Are you experiencing any pain?" She asked

"No I'm okay I'm just wondering what did I do to be beat up like this" I said

"Only God knows but there will get their punishment, don't stress ma'am" she said

I nodded

She checked everything then left

After some time almost an hour Meek came back with my things I thought I'd be happy to see him but I just cried I couldn't fake a smile

He rushed to me

"What's wrong? What did they do babe?" He asked

I hugged him tightly and cried harder

"Don't worry it's gonna be okay" he rubbed my back and kissed my forehead

After I was done crying I told him everything that my father said and did, words can't describe how mad he was

"I swear I'll kill him with my bare hands he'll regret every bad thing he did to you" he said

"Meek I need to disappear I can't be in Philly even worse I can't be in the US" I said

"Never, I'm going to protect you" he said

"How? Cause you'll be at work and I'm sure his guys follow me everywhere" I said
