"Why we gotta do this" This guy yelled from the back of the room

We had just got our senior class project and we had to do time with little kids. I was kinda looking forward to it I love kids. The teacher gave out our kids names and there pictures. my little girls name was Nevaeh she was so cute. Her card says that her mama gave her up after birth. That made me cry cause my mom was killed and my dad is in jail for killing her so my grandma took cared if me until she died.

"They are really happy to see y'all so today after school all y'all have to be there" Mr.Wilson said.

The bell rang letting us know that the school day was over I walked to my locker to get my book. When I got there's saw Kaden. I haven't spoke to him since his psycho bitch came at me and that's was almost two weeks ago.

"Ma please talk to me" he said following me to my car.

"I have somewhere to be but come by my house around six" I said while driving off.

No I'm not mad at him it just he need to learn how to control his damn hoes. After a 20 minute drive I finally pulled up to the orphanage.

"Hey, I'm Shaé I'm here for my high school project" I told the lady at the front

She didn't even answer me she started typing on her computer and then got up and walked away. Once she came back she had a little girl who I'm guessing is Nevaeh following behind her. Nevaeh was mixed like me with Puerto Rican and black her hair was in its curly state.

"Hey I'm Shaé" I said getting down to her level

"I'm Nevaeh" she said in a shy tone

I stayed up there with her for hours. She is the sweetest little girl ever , I talk to the lady at the table about if someone was adopting her any time soon and she said no one has thought about it. I had forgotten that Kaden was meeting me at my house she I had to leave and get there.

I pulled up to Shaé's house and she wasn't home yet so I waited in the car I was waiting for like five minutes until she pulled up.

"Hey ma" I said while kissing her.

"Hey baby" she said lowly

"What's wrong" I asked her

"I went and visited Nevaeh and I felt so bad for her , She all alone I want to do something to help her" she said while crying .

"Let's adopt her baby" I said excitedly.

Shaé face lit up I could tell that made her so happy

"Are you for real baby" she said coming to sit on my lap.

"Yes babe I've always wanted kids with you anyway so why not we would make perfect parents" I said.

I called my mom and told her me and Shaé's plan and she was all for it . She told me she would fail the papers for it and for me and Shaé to just her room together. That night I stayed with Shaé and we did some online shopping for Nevaeh room. We got her the princess bed and white dresser to matches. I can't wait till she gets her , I'll be a dad and I'll have my queen and my princess.

3 months later

It was 4 in the morning when kadens mom called me

"hello" i said half sleep

"My lawyer called me and said everything is a go y'all can go get her at anytime" she said back to me

After hearing that i jumped outta bed and ran to the shower and i took a 15 minute shower and but on my pink joggers and black crop top, i ran down stairs to see kaden already dress and waiting for me i figured his mama called him first. I let him drive cause i was to happy to. It took us 20 minutes to get there once we got here kaden and i walked in hand in hand to the front desk and told her we was here to pick up Nevaeh.Within 5 minutes the lady came back with a sleeping Nevaeh and gave her to kaden. We all got back into the car,Kaden dropped me and Nevaeh off and told me he will be back later. I carried a sleeping Nevaeh up to my room and laid her down and i got behind her and before go to sleep I whispered to her that I'm going to be the best mommy i can be and kaden going to be the best daddy and we will always love her and never let anyone hurt her.
