1 Week later

It was a hard week for everybody. The whole city was mourning of their loss of  their hero. The mayor and the government have heard about the death of Supergirl and have built a park for her, a place to honor and remember her. Lena had organized the park and built it there where Supergirl's last battle was. In the middle of it was her grave statue with her family crest on it. They made sure it was a park of joy and not grief, because Supergirl was a joyful person and would want everybody do their best, eve when she's no longer there. They have even built different planets around the park. J'onn knew the solar system where Krypton was from...It did not only remind people of the hero, but where she came from.

On September 30 would be her funeral, or better to say her remembrance. All of National city were holding candles to remind them of Rao's light. Many were crying, especially her family. Lena stood there on the podium and gave her speech, she didn't hold her tears...She couldn't hold them and she didn't care.

"We have lost a great hero...She wasn't only a hero, she was a friend...A really good friend. She inspired hope, she hoped in places where we might have given up on hope, but she...She held on to it. She never gave up. She saw the good in people even though on the outside they were filled with darkness, with evilness. But where ever she was, her light brought the darkness away and that's what makes her a true hero. She promised us...The day she became Supergirl that she will protect Earth, whom she proudly calls home, till her very last breath...And she kept that promise. She all wants you to know to never give up on hope and even though she may not be here, she is watching us in Rao's light...We all miss her, but her spirit will always be with us."

With that speech people felt hope again and Lena went down from the podium and let her tears fall. Nobody was able to hold their tears. Everybody marched through the city till their candles didn't light anymore, the little light representing their hope. As the marching stopped, people looked into the sky hoping that their hero would come back, hoping to see a blur of blue and red...But they didn't see any. All let their tears fall, not believing that she's truly gone...

As everybody went home, the superfriends went to Kara's loft. It became a place to hang out and was the only place that reminded them strongly about the joyful, brave, funny, awkward, dorky and loving hero. Everybody was there comforting each other and hugging each other...Desperately needing it.

"I miss her...So much." Said Lena through sobs. Ruby spoke with teary eyes: "We all miss her aunt Lena, we all want her back..." It stung in everyone's heart on how true that is. "What would Kara do if she were still here?" Asked James to lighten up the mood. "Probably order tons of Pizza and Potstickers and watch a movie." Said Nia sniffed. "Let's order then, to let us know that Kara is still here. She's may not be present in this world, but her spirit will be always here. We continue game night's each Friday, here at her loft and when were here we eat her favorite food." Said the Martian, showing hope in his voice. "It just feels less enthusiastic without her puppy eyes, pouts and laugh. I just want my little sister back, because...I feel so lost, we feel lost." Alex said through heavy tears and sobs. "Alex if I were granted one wish, I would wish her back, but reality is reality. But remember what she said, continue your true journey, become your true hero. She will guide us, root for us, love us and she will be with us, in here." Said Sam pointing to Alex's heart, giving a sad smile. "Yeah...I have to continue, even if she's not here physically, but is here in my heart." Said the older Danvers with hope. "So let's order and make our Kara happy." Said Lena, hiding the pain with her cheerfulness. They all ordered food and watched all of Kara's favorite movies. They even played games and had fun...It's true, Kara's light brings joy into everybody's life, despite being no longer here.

Weeks have passed and the superfriends were still grieving, but they helped each other up. They continued game night's, eaten Pizza and Potstickers and most importantly trying to become their full selves...To become the true people, that Kara always saw in them.

At L-Corp

Lena was sitting on her desk, typing away until she heard soft boots land on her balcony. She spinned quickly as she could, hoping it was Kara, but frowned a little, noticing it was Superman. "Superman with what may I help you?" Asked Lena nicely, hiding her disappointment.

"Please Lena you can call me Clark in private. I came here to bring you something. It would be your birthday gift from Kara, but she told me if you felt down I could give it to you earlier." Said the Super softly, still holding the box. Lena stood there with wide eyes. Not only did one Super visit her the day she met Kara, but both. "As in Clark Kent? The Daily Planet Reporter and the cousin of Kara? And yes, thank you for bringing a gift, but why trust me with such a big secret if your arch nemesis is...Is my brother?" Asked the Luthor in shock, wondering why the man of steel would trust her. "I trust Kara and her guts, and she's right...You are nothing like your brother and mother. And yes I am Clark Kent, but keep it secret." Said the man of steel calmly. Then handed her the box, which Lena happily took. He then noticed on Lena's neck the necklace that Kara wore. "I see you are wearing Kara's necklace. Take good care of it, it's sacred to Kara." Joked the Super, but the meaning was serious. "Thank you...And yes I will take good care of it." Said the Luthor, looking down at the necklace that was s precious to her.

Clark answered: "So I have to go back to Argo, please take care of Kara's home while I take care of her other home. And Lena, if you and Kara would have gotten together, don't need to worry, I would have accepted you in the family. You have my blessings...But also thank you for building that beautiful park for Kara, I'm sure she would've loved it."

With that the man of steel flew away and left Lena with a bright smile. He was so much nicer than her brother described him to her. She opened the dox and squeald in joy. Kara had gotten her those books that couldn't be bought anymore in stores or even couldn't be found in the Luthor mansion. She then noticed that there were flowers and flower seeds in it too, Kara even left a picture of them with a note behind it:

Hey Lena!

I found you the books that you have wanted for years and Rao they were not easy to find. I'm sure you may be asking why there are flowers in there, and that they don't look like any from Earth. Well it's from Krypton. It's a Dar-Essa. When I was little, my mother came into my room to measure it. It was supposed to grow as tall as you, but I outgrew it. Last time I saw my Dar-Essa it had my exact hight. So if you have one day kids of your own, it would be fun how the outcome would be.

Love, Kara

Lena had small tears rolling down her cheeks. "You remembered Kara...And thank you so much for these beautiful Dar-Essa's." She clutch the note to her chest, and let her tears fall...

But little did Lena know, that she wasn't alone in the office. Truly Kara was always with her...
