—life wasn't cruel, it doesn't hold resent to anyone. it just moves on, not looking back, not regretting; that was its purpose. uzumaki mizu lived like that; like water flowing through without a care to anything else around her.
the static noise of life, was an annoyance to her. unnecessary words, unnecessary emotions and unnecessary actions. all of it screamed and deafened her.
so she uses music as the wall to block her from the noise.

he thrived with his ideals, with his life. to be able to live the moment, it was all that he wished for. his dreams, his ambitions, and his own heart.

—the second-year of high school had started, it was the year where everything you did would start to affect your own future. uzumaki mizu found it tiring, the high school life. same old routines, same old classes and same old people. the initial excitement during first-year was gone, and the thrill of third-year was still far. the days were stagnant -that is, until excitement in the form of a fellow second-year boy made its way into her life instead.
kaminari denki had made it his own personal mission to give her life colour. to make her see what he sees in this world of endless journeys. maybe then, she would realise all the things he's done for her, and finally look at him in a different light.
maybe then, she won't feel asphyxiated by her own self.

—hello everyone to the rewritten version of asphyxia! this is totally different from the initial version so it doesn't matter if y'all ever read it before or not. asphyxia will be set within a modern au where there are no quirks.
the reason why i wanted to rewrite asphyxia is because of the lack of a real plot the initial version had, that led to me not being able to write anything for it anymore. so after a bit of brainstorming and inspiration, i decided to rewrite it in an entirely different way and plot!
the main idea for this will be around fluff and soft scenes. but still with sprinkles of more mildly sad scenes. i wanted to try a different pace to what i usually write for fanfics, so here we are! no dramatic fight scenes, no supernatural entities, just regular living people!
