Song ATM: No Control by One Direction

I sighed hearing my stomach growl again as I waited online. Hayley recommended this chinese place so I decided to give it a try. I was so hungry, I would eat anything here right now.

I sighed as my phone vibrated but smiled as I saw his name "Good Afternoon" "Try the Lo Mein" he said and I froze then turned around quickly to see him smiling. I laughed hanging up as he walked over to me giving me a hug and a kiss on the cheek.

It's been over a month since that morning and even though everything wasn't like it was in New york, it was getting better. We were friends again, we hung out, we talked on the phone. Felt like high school again. Progress.

"What's going on?" I asked pulling away smiling. "Just got off work, hungry. You?" "Same. I actually think I might take you up on lo mein" I said turning to look at the menu quickly and not focus on him in the black suit. Him in suits should be illegal.

Him in anything should be illegal. But then again, him naked- Okay stop right there Leah...

I walked up to the lady smiling ordering spicy chicken lo mein and he spoke up "Our order is together. I'll have shrimp lo mein" he said pulling out his wallet and I shook my head. "No Cam, I can pay-" he shook his head passing his card to her.

"I don't mind-" "But I do. I can pay" I protested. "I know you can but I want to" he stated smiling and I sighed giving up. Free meal was never bad. "Fine, but next time I got it" "...Whatever you say Leah" he said shaking his head.

Once the food was done, we sat at a table and dug in. I barely even talked till I was finished scafing the whole plate down happily. Hayley was right, best chinese food I ever tasted.

"So how's everything?" "Great" he smiled looking up. "How's your father? Haven't heard about him in forever" He chuckled "Pretty good... Spoke to him earlier and, I kind of think he's seeing someone" I leaned closer confused. He was happy? I remember last time he thought that, he lost his shit.

But, I couldn't do anything but smile at him in return. It was a proud moment, he was doing better. "Glad to hear that. Did he tell you?" "No but it's just the way he speak about her, I know somethings there. I'm happy for him though, he needs someone" I nodded agreeing.

"So hows your parents?" he asked as I took a sip of my snapple. "Great I guess. Haven't talked to them much- well my mom but my dad said everythings good. They're perfectionist, they refuse for anything to go wrong" I muttered he laughed agreeing.

"So why are you so dressed up today?" I asked. "Oh so you noticed?" "Of course I did. You don't usually wear suits. You're a tee, skinny jeans and vans kind of guy" His smile got bigger as he looked down "Well I was gonna tell you later but since you brought it up guess I will now" "What?" "Umm didn't think it would happen so quick but... I am officially Ceo of Mike Entertainment Studios. I'm gonna have help from my dad and a few people before it's completely left to me" he said calmly as my mouth dropped and eyes went wide. And he was acting like this wasn't a big fucking deal?!

"Oh my gosh! Congrats. I'm so happy for you" I squealed jumping in my seat and he laughed looking down. "Thank you. You should stop by sometime" he said hopefully as he looked up and I instantly nodded. "I will" "How about tomorrow after work" he said quickly and I laughed nodding. "Is 5:30 okay?" I asked and he nodded smiling hard.

*****Next Day*****

I walked into the huge building saying Mike Entertainment Studios in gold letters and saw a lady at a big desk typing. "Good Afternoon" she said looking at me quickly before getting back to work. "Hi, I'm here to see Cameron" "And you are?" she said quickly in a hard tone looking at me.
