"Wait what?!" Hayley demanded as I ate my pancakes. "She said that?" She asked in disbelief and I nodded.

"I'm pissed she said it but really in front of all those low lifes? I bet she would be pissed if I told everyone she got an STD from sleeping with all those guys in college" she shrugged as I busted out laughing.

"Drunk or not I would have hit her. You're good at holding your temper, I really need to be more like you" "She's not worth it, at least I know now not to trust her"

"So what do you want to do?" "What do you mean?" "Do you want to beat her up and go home or do you want to stay here, enjoy the trip, go home then beat her up?" She asked and I looked up to see her smiling.

"I'll take the second one without beating her up" I laughed and she joined.

"How are you feeling though? I know what she said had to hurt, and ... what you and Cam had wasn't just some puppy love" She was right but it wasn't real anymore it was over. I needed to start actually doing something about it.

"I'm fine. I just want to enjoy this trip and stay away from her" I said avoiding the subject of him. I didn't want to talk about him for the rest of the week, hopefully longer. He doesn't deserve to be thought of.

"Well we're going to do that. Me and you girl" she said and I smiled. "Love you!" I said and she laughed. "Love you too"

"Now we just have to think of something to do. We have a few more days here" I was a bit nervous to bring it up but it was worth a shot.

"Actually I heard there was a party going on down the street" She looked at me confused. "You heard? By who?" "Nick. He told me his friend was having a party today and he invited us" Here we go.

"And Nick is? "He was hanging out with Jaime-" "No" she said shaking her head instantly. "Just listen for a second please" "He was hanging out with Jamie and them last night, I don't like him already" she simple stated and I sighed.

"I didn't like him either, until he made me feel better after I called Cameron" I whispered and her face went hard.

"You spoke to Cameron? What did he say? What did you say!?" She demanded but I shook my head looking down. "I didn't speak to him, it was his voicemail again...." I whispered. "Oh... Well w-what did you say?" She asked nervous.

"Just finally said my goodbye. I thought that we would work things out but, I understand thats not what he wants" I took a deep breath wanting to forget about the conversation. It was a goodbye which meant it was over. Done.

"So Nick?" "Is going through the same thing. And he understands that it's hard but it's for the best to move on. He was really nice and sweet. He was just trying to help as I sat on the beach crying my eyes out ready to go home. He thinks a night out with my friends will be good" I said simply.

It's not like he just tried to sleep with me. We talked, he gave me some encouraging words and invited me to a party then left. No harm done.

"For him or you?" She question raising her eyebrow "Me" I laughed rolling my eyes. "Trust me, I don't want anything right now. I just want to enjoy myself and move on" I reassured. "Well if you put it that way Miss Roberts, count me in" she smiled.

"Wow, I didn't expect this" I said looking around the house to see it was packed. Everyone had a cup in their hands either talking or dancing. "Me either" Hayley said laughing.

"Leah!" We turned to seeing Nick in one of his friends coming over to us smiling. I smiled and we both waved. He had on just a plain black tee and jeans but, it worked for him. Just like like the beanies. God I loved a guy that can work a beanie!

"Hey this is my friend Hayley" "Nice to meet you Hayley. This is my friend Jayce, the host" he said as his friend held out his hand and we shook it.

"Nice to meet you" I said and he smiled. "You too. He tells me you're not from here, I can hear in your voices too" he smiled. He was really cute in a nerdy way. He had on a green v neck , black jeans. Red and green beanie and glasses.

"Yeah I'm from New York" "I'm from Tennessee" Hayley said smiling. "Ahh so a rose and Iris" "Huh?" We asked and he laughed as Nick rolled his eyes.

"The states flowers. New York is a rose and Tennessee is a Iris" he explained and I was actually surprised. "Really? I never knew that" I said. "Yeah his nickname is Google, he can be a smart ass too" Nick joked hitting him in his arm as we laughed.

"Okay well, I'll be back but in the meantime go get a drink, dance and enjoy yourself" he said smiling before walking off. Hayley pulled her phone out. "Tell Chris I said hi" I said smiling and she returned it. "Give me a second" she said holding the phone to her ear then walking back towards the front leaving me with Nick.

"Want a drink?" I nodded smiling and he grabbed my hand pulling me to the Kitchen where the table was covered in liquor bottles and beer cans.

As the night went on, I had three drinks feeling a bit woozy but I could still handle myself. Me and Hayley enjoyed our time just dancing, talking and laughing. Like I should be doing. Nick came over frequently to make sure we were okay but still hung out with his friends which was good.

A lot of people were dancing but we stayed on the side. Hayley only danced when she was really drunk but I didn't want to go out there by myself. That was until I got you by Duke Dumont came on. I wasn't much of a party girl but I love this song. It was so catchy how could you not like it?

I danced in my spot and Hayley started laughing. "Go out there and dance" she said pushing me and I shook my head. She motioned for me to turn and I looked to see Nick smiling. He held his hand out waiting as I thought it over. Why not?

I took a deep breath and walked over to him putting my hand in his as he led me to the center of everyone dancing. One dance wouldn't hurt.

He held my waist with my back to him as I instantly started moving my hips side to side. I felt so awkward doing this. Its not that he was a bad dancer or anything but it was because I haven't did this in so long.

It felt like forever but I was going to let go. I was going to enjoy myself and this night. I deserved it. If I wanted to have fun, I was going to do it without any regrets.

I grabbed his hands and wrapped them tightly against me so there was no space. "I see you're starting to get a little more comfortable" I smiled nodding. "Think it's the drinks finally taking its toll but, I like this" I said as he laughed.

"Me too. Here's to letting go of the past and having fun" "Yes. Tonight has been fun" I said smiling and dancing.

"The night is just getting started"
