when the delighted bubble
of childhood and youth
is around you
it's easy to have no cares in the world
it's easy to watch the sun rise and think
it's beautiful
it's glowing
it's bright
and to see the beauty in the world around us
to see the glory in the earth
but as years pass
and you see the dark side of the world
the bubble pops
the sunrise no longer signals a bright new day
but rather a day with more pain
and more hurt
as you grow out of carefreeness
and you see what the world truly is to you
you forget about the light
that filled your life before
yet through this all
there's still a ray of light
deep inside
that will cherish the sun and the stars
and knows how beautiful the earth
truly is
