One Step Closer

Chapter 4

The plane crashed in the side of Sansei Seafood Resterant and Sushi Bar in Maui, Hawaii. After the plane crash me and Maura were okay. So we both turned around to see who survied the crash. MarMar, Maura, myslef, and a few strangers survivied. My parents did not survive and as well as Mauras also. Maura and I could not belive it so we checked their palse and there was none. 

Maura and I got back to our seats and started crying. MarMar was to little to know what was wrong, she is three. We decided not to tell her though, so she would not cry also. 

After a little while the pilot came out and looked at the survivors and took us outside the plane. We had no other family to come and get us, including Mauras family members too.

There were 4 adults, 3 children(us), and 1 worker saved and alive. Our parents didn't make it in the hospital. Mauras parents did not make it either. So we had to be sent to a foster home. We got sent to Marie 1013 Foster Home for Kidz. When we pulled into the parking lot i knew i was not going to like it. Mauras face was the same as mine. 

Then i turned to MarMar and said "MarMar, I want you to know tht mommy and daddy died on the plane. I am so sorry MarMar. We are going to a Foster Home and we're going to get new parents."

MarMar started to cry and i calmed her down.

Then i said "It is time to get out and go into our new "home" for a little while, Okay?" 

She said "Okay, I am standing between you and Maura."

So she stood between us and took our hands. We opened the doors and we got assigned beds right next to each other. We put our stuff in drawers and a picked MarMar up and sang her a song:
