Due to a question asked by RandomMidget, it has come to my attention that some Bronies and Pegasisters probably don't know what Vocaloid is. It may be the same for Vocaloid fans with MLP, but MLP is more popular so I guess I'll explain what Vocaloid is. Especially since this book is both of those things.

Fluffy: Okay, so, I'm getting my definition from Wikipedia. Vocaloid (ボーカロイド Bōkaroido?) is a singing voice synthesizer. It comes in different languages, but only in English, Japanese, Spanish, Chinese, Korean, and Catalan. I don't know what Catalan is, but it's there. I think it was made by Yamaha, but I could be wrong.

Miku: Basically, people record their voices and then they put it in a voice synthesizer to make it sound completely different. Kinda like auto-tune.

Len: The first ones made by were Leon and Lola, who spoke English, though they didn't have any box art. Then there was Miriam, who barely had a picture.

Rin: I don't really know, but I think Meiko and Kaito went after that. They were the firsts to speak Japanese.

Miku: Then I think Sweet-Ann came, but her original box art was... Uh...

Luka: Don't even mention it.

Miku: Yeah, well, Sweet-Ann spoke English too. But the product didn't really get popular, I guess. Even though people bought it.

Luka: It really got popular when Hatsune Miku came.

Miku: See? I make everything more popular!

Rin: *facepalm*

Miku: I spoke Japanese, and apparently everyone said I was cute.

Len: Oh boy.

Rin: Then we came! The Kagamine twins!

Len: Rin and Len. People get confused sometimes and say Lin and Ren. Which is not correct...

Rin: I was made first, and Len is my younger brother!

Len: Technically, were mirror images, but some people say we're siblings. Well, we're voiced by the same person, so I guess mirror images make sense...

Luka: Then I came, and I was bilingual. Speaking English and Japanese.

Miku: We all had a certain type of voice to fit in a certain type of music.

Meiko: Which made the thing kinda interesting.

Kaito: We could say more, but if we did, we would make an entire book about it. Especially since there's like, 40-50 different Vocaloids...

Miku: So, in conclusion, Vocaloid is a voice synthesizer that you can buy (for a whopping $100 and over!) and they are voiced by actual people.

Rin: On the box, there is art of the character of the voice, like Miku is the character of the voice Saki Fujita.

Len: Rin and I are voiced by Asami Shimoda.

Luka: I'm voiced by Yu Asakawa. According to Wikipedia.

Meiko: I was voiced by Meiko Haigo. I'm serious.

Kaito: The guy who voiced me is Naoto Fuga.

Miku: And people buy our voices to make songs! Which is why we're popular, since the songs we sing are great...

Rin: *cough* Snob *cough*

Miku: *sticks out tongue*

Luka: So, that's Vocaloid poorly explained by FluffyAlicorn12. You have better luck understanding Vocaloid if you go on Google.

Fluffy: Eh...

Rin: Hey Google!

Len: Rin, Google isn't a person.

Rin: Fine. Siri!

Len: We don't have a phone.

Rin: Gaaaahhhhh.

Miku: So, what about Rin's computer?

Luka: We broke it.

Kaito: Rin gave it to me to fix.

Meiko: You broke it even more.

Kaito: I'm sorry...

Rin: My computer.

Len: Forget the computer.

Rin: NUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU.

Len: Why. Why me. Why am I stuck with this.

Rin: *slaps Len*

Len: Gomen! Okay! I get it!

Rin: You better.

Len: Okay, now I know why... She's scary...

Rin: *jumps up and down*

Luka: Tuna.

If you want to listen to a few Vocaloid songs, I suggest:

Electric Angel sang by Hatsune Miku.

Luka Luka Night Fever sang by Megurine Luka.

Levan Polkka sang by Hatsune Miku.

Purple Butterfly on Your Right Shoulder sang by Kagamine Rin and Len.

World is Mine sang by Hatsune Miku.

Rolling Girl sang by Hatsune Miku.

And Meltdown sang by Kagamine Rin.

And you can go more from there!
