"There were creepy tentacles coming out of one guy's face and- and then the guy just vaporized" Clary stuttered as she was pacing in front of her mom. I was watching her from my seat front and back front and back...
"I was drugged right?" Clary trembled to look and both me and her mom
"What did the markings look like on the blonde guy you were talking about?' Jocelyn asked Clary
"Who cares mom?! Are you even listening to me?! I think I killed a guy." I rolled my eyes at her little outburst, what a drama queen.
"Mrs. Fray, they looked like this," I said taking out my stele to run over my angelic power rune so it glowed from under my makeup
Jocelyn's eyes narrowed as she looked at me "You're a..." I nodded my head yes
Clary looked at me and started backing away "What the-" She muttered
"Everything you saw tonight has a meaning and an explanation and I've dreaded having this conversation with you since you were born" Jocelyn was walking towards Clary who was in denial shaking her head
"What is going on?" She cried this girl I swear...
"You're a Shadowhunter for the angel's sake!" I burst out immediately regretting it as she turned to me
"You're in this to," she asked tears filling her eyes Jocelyn frowned at me. Oops, I made mamma bear mad...
"The protections are wearing of her she is 18 now she needs to know the truth" Jocelyn was speaking to me I nodded my head understanding what I have to do because unlike me who was raised in Alcinate Clary knew nothing.
"Mom you're scaring the hell out of me," The ginger said near tears, I swear does she have the wrong creative skill because she would be good in drama too.
Suddenly a woman walked in black hair flowing behind her "Jocelyn look out the window, Magnus called to warn us. They found you"
Suddenly I wasn't the only one with questions "Wait hold up you know Magnus? And who hell is 'they'?!" I yelled as Joceyln rushed to the window looking out she said
"Dot its time," she said completely ignoring my questions, damn she was good at that. She rushed to the two of us
"Okay listen to me, you can't be near me," She said the started to look for something
"What's happening?" Clary asked worriedly
"I got a very powerful person angry" The gingers mother explained I started ranking names in my head until one shone out
"Mom what did you do?" Clary asked staring as her mother
"I hid something from him and his followers" she clarified this just confirmed the name and shit this wasn't good.
"Mom why can't you just call the police," Said the ginger I looked at her and thought is she for real this girl thinks the police can help I facepalmed.
"The policeman you need to call is Luke," She said giving her daughter a necklace I wanted to ask her how she knew the powerful guy how dangerous can she be.
The woman who knows Magnus handed a greenish bluish liquid to Joceyln " Only if you need it" she said, so she is a warlock I should have known'"
"Dot open it'" Joceyln said looking at the warlock as I saw her hand fill with a blue power she was opening a portal
"Wait a minute you didn't answer my question Ms. Fray how do you know Magnus" I piped up
"Take care of her," She said avoiding my question
