Diana POV
"Tired already Iz?" I asked my raven-haired parabatai was leaning with hands on her knees.
"It's not fun being beaten nearly every time" she panted looking up at me with a smile on her face
"I mean, you're not wrong," I said laughing
"Don't let it get over your head or you'll start acting like Jace." she retorted
"Fineee but its true" I said winking I grabbed my phone and saw that it was already 8:10 I frowned slightly
"Hey whats wrong boo?" Izzy asked
"Ughhh I am supposed to meet Simon and Clary in 10 minutes" I said sighing
"No worries, I have to check on the boys before they get into trouble, well Jace having the idea and my silly brother always gives up at end" She said rolling her eyes
"Okay gotta go see yeah later" I hugged her before rushing out of the training room I pilled my hair out of its high ponytail as I ran to the caffe where Im supposed to meet Si and Clary
At the caffe
I walked din and looked around for a familiar nerdy boy and a flash or fiery hair. I couldnt spot them giving up I started to grab my phone when I heard a familiar voice
"Hey D over here" I turned to meet with a familiar pair of glasses
"Simon!" I smiled rushing over to give him a hug "Where is Clary?' I asked
"She is inside" He answered squeezing me back
"Soooo' I said leaning on the table
"So what?" He asked nervously scratching the back of his head
"You know exactly what Im asking" I answered smirking slightly
"I have no idea what your talking about" he said avoiding eye contact
"Simon, did you tell Clary" I demanded
"Tell her what?!"
I rolled my eyes, this boy is killing me "Oh I dont know maybe that youre completely in love with her?!"
"Am not!" He said looking at the floor
"Simon Lewis I know when your lying"
"I-"
He cut himself off as Clary neared there table and asked
"What did he lie about?" she asked
"Nothing" He said hurriedly shooting me a glare
"So did you get in?" I asked though the answer was obviously yes. However as soon as I asked her face fell.
"Give me the professors names and I.. I will end them," Simon said agitated
Clary and I gave him a weird look since he can't even hurt a fly
"You know with a scathing email to the dean" He stuttered
I searched Clary's face and there it was the small tilt of her mouth when she is lying
"I don't buy it" I whispered grinning at her
