Sadie was exhausted and not just because of the events that took place in the pool. She had barely gotten a wink of sleep even the herbs she used couldn't help her put her mind at ease. Instead she stayed up trying to find out more about the kanima. She got a copy of the bestiary and tried translating as much of it as she could. Her night consisted or frustration and deliriousness. She slowly walked to class with her eyes barely open and a water bottle full of a special tea to keep her awake during class. Scott was already there so she took the seat next to him.

"Hey," He said to her.

She put her head face down on her desk and said, "Ughhhhh."

"Woah what's wrong."

Her head flew up and her hair was a wild mess.

"I'm so sleep deprived it's not even funny."

Scott couldn't help but laugh at the girls appearance. She was wear cotton shorts and a hoodie with her hair up in a messy bun.

"It's kinda funny."

At that same moment Isaac walked in between their desks and took a seat in front of Sadie. He turned around and smirked at them.

"Nice hair Sadie. You're really pulling off the sleepy but cute look."

Sadie glared at him and clenched her hand into a fist preparing to siphon some magic out of her ring. She was not in the mood to play games today. Scott grabbed her hand, stopping her from causing a scene.

"Sadie don't. It isn't worth it."

Scott seemed calm but he still sent Isaac a death glare. Isaac smirked again before turning back around in his seat. Sadie wanted nothing more than to slap the smile off of his face.

"Scott! Sadie!" Stiles said as he rushed into the classroom.

"I just talked to my dad, who just talked to Jackson and i've got some really bad news. Like seriously horrible news."

Scott and Sadie kept their focus on the boy in front of them while listening to Stiles rant.

"I think we already know."

Scott gestured towards Isaac and it was no doubt he heard them talking but he never turned around to face them.

They left the classroom in a hurry and walked out into the hall together. Scott and Stiles had another class together while Sadie had an off period. They continued to discuss the problem at hand as they walked down the hallway.

"I only found one thing online called the kanima. It's a werejaguar from South America that goes after murderers."

"That was definitely not a werejaguar." Sadie said.

Stiles scoffed and said, "Yes i'm aware of that."

"And you're not a murderer." Scott added.

"Once again, I know that."

"But you did see it kill someone. That's probably why it's going after you and still going after you. In fact, it probably won't stop until you're dead."

Stiles squinted his eyes at Scott's words and said, "You know sometimes i'm really starting to question this "friendship"."

Scott and Stiles headed into their next class while Sadie stopped at her locker. She exchanged books out and put away some other things so she was ready for her next class. When she shut the locker a person was behind the other side. Isaac stood there staring at her. She rolled her eyes and ignored him as she walked in the other direction. Isaac's hand shot out and grabbed her wrist tightly as he extended his claws. She was prepared to fight back and siphoned some magic but Isaac stopped her.
