GOTHAM STORAGE UNIT
OCTOBER 3RD
5:28 a.m.

"You were right!" she announces, awaking the sleeping teenager as she steps into the storage room. "He's Batman's son."

Daniel flinches at the sudden awakening before slowly sitting up to rub his eyes. "...what?"

"Robin," Pathos snaps, putting her mask on the metal table. "He's the Batman's son. I threw the idea around and no one said a word."

"That may not..." he pauses to yawn, "mean anything." He leans his head against the wall, nearly sliding off the cot he's handcuffed to.

"True," She agrees before looking over at Daniel, "But I can feel it. There was a certain...tension in the air."

"So that means..."

"You were right," she admits proudly before walking over to him. She rustles a hand through his hair, looking at him proudly. "Now I know the perfect way to separate the two."

"You got the antidote?"

Pathos sighs before stepping away from Daniel. She starts pulling her hair into a ponytail. "No," she admits begrudgingly, "I did not. They got to it before I could." She noticed how Daniel almost looked upset with the news. Was he upset on my behalf or his?

"So what are you gonna do now?"

Pathos gives a small smile. "I'll just have to make my own."

Daniel frowns before looking at her lab set up. "How long will that take?"

She shrugs. "As long as it has to."

KING'S APARTMENT
OCTOBER 4TH
15:22 p.m.

Please don't be there, please don't be there, Noelle silently pleads to herself as her and Leo approach their apartment door.

Of all the days for Leo to have an unannounced day off from his tutoring...

Maybe he left, she reasons with herself as she pulls out her apartment key. Maybe he realized I was late and left.

Leo stands behind her, looking at nothing but the large touchscreen in his hands. She unlocks the door, allowing both of them to enter.

"So," the familiar voice chimes as the two enter, "I figured out the perfect place to hide the—"

Noelle's eyes widen as Robin turns in his spot. Leo looks up, only to gasp loudly. "Holy shit!" Leo curses. The touch screen nearly slips through his fingers.

Noelle looks at Robin, who in turn is looking back at her, neither completely sure what to do. "Silas!" Noelle suddenly exclaims with a grin. "You weren't supposed to show me your costume until next week!"

Leo looks up at Noelle with a frown. "That's not Silas."

"That's what I thought," Noelle lies, "But Silas has been preparing this Halloween costume for a while now. Isn't that right?"

She looks over at Robin, trying to not make it too obvious she was begging for his help. He nods his head, but says nothing more.

"Oh," Leo sighs, "you had me fooled, Si," he admits before looking down at his touch screen. "Your cape's a little dumb though."
