'We are nearly there.'
'Okay, I'm ready.'
'Good.'
'C u ina bit.'
'Yup.'
"Who ya texting Joe?" Zoe asked. "Is it a lady friend?" She nudged him.
"Haha. It's no one." Joe said.
"Okay." Zoe didn't buy it, but let it go. "I hope Casper is okay."
"He is." Joe was speaking really quickly.
Most of the car journey was silent, Zoe and Alfie were worried about Casper and Joe was worried it wouldn't work.
"Here we are." The driver announced which made them all jump.
"Thanks, here's your cash." Joe said handing him the money.
"Cheers!"
Zoe and Alfie were lead up to the flat by Joe.
"Are you sure he is in? It's dark inside." Alfie questioned.
"Ummm." Joe was nervous now.
"He might be on his x-box though." Zoe said.
"True." Alfie was curious.
Joe unlocked the door and let Zoe and Alfie in and sent Casper a text.
'We just got through the door.'
'Okay. Come in upstairs bathroom quick.'
'K.'
"I'm just going to the loo quick. Make yourself at home." Joe told them and ran upstairs.
"Casper, you up here?" Joe whispered.
"Yeah in here." Casper whispered back.
"Okay..... What in Gods name are you wearing?"
"I thought you said scare them, so I put the mask on and plain black clothes."
"Uhh... Okay.... I will get them in the front room and watch a movie and you hide in the toilet downstairs."
"Okay... Make sure the front room door is shut."
"Well duh!"
"Haha."
"Get ready now."
Joe walked downstairs and showed Zoe and Alfie to the front room.
"Let's watch the Grinch for a bit yeah?" Joe asked.
"Sure." Zoe and Alfie said back.
So Joe put it on and quickly sent Casper a message as he closed the door.
'Door closed, go quickly!!'
"I would avoid the bathroom upstairs if ya get what I'm saying." Joe said.
"Ewww Joe to much info!!" Zoe exclaimed.
"Hey, I was just warning ya!"
"Thanks for the warning!"
Alfie walked out of the room to go to the bathroom when Zoe called out "Alfie, use the downstairs one, Joe's warning sounded true!"
"Okay likkle one, I will."
It was silent for a second until there was a big thump on the floor.
"Alfie are you okay?!" Zoe shouted.
