When Harvey was back on the mainland, he couldn't care less about the chaos what was happening over on Arkham Island. How he even managed get to the mainland was a mystery even though it happened. It seemed like some inmates had a genius plan of dressing up as guards, and saying they were taking some of the more dangerous inmates back to the mainland jail. It really was quite a smart idea, and surprisingly enough, it worked.

Here he was, walking along a dark street in Gotham, like he had never been away for nearly five months. Already inmates who had made it across were causing problems. Stores were getting broken into and there was also some disturbing screaming happening from some of the alleyways he passed. Looking up when people came running out of an apartment building he hung back in the shadows. There was a man brandishing quite a horrid looking knife, which was already covered in blood, in his other hand was a gun. The man had some sort of style. Not that Harvey really approved of attacking people while they slept peacefully in their homes.

But then, were they actually sleeping? With the happenings going on on Arkham Island, how many of them were actually at peace in their own homes? It happened rather quickly, one minute the man was standing the next he was on the ground. Harvey sighed and rolled his eyes. Behind him stood a woman holding a rolling pin. That was effectively a very good weapon too. Looking up he frowned, out of all the apartment buildings to stubble on, he had to stumble across the one with Adelaide in. He could clearly see her standing at her window looking down at the unconscious man. Her fingers drummed on the pane of glass and she slipped back and disappeared.

Harvey looked around with slightly wide eyes. Looking back up he counted she was on the fourth floor. The room number would be a mystery. Walking forward he managed to get access to the building, although he had to step over the unconscious man in the process. Reaching down he took his weapons off of him. Pocketing the gun with the other one he still had, he walked into the elevator. The building was silent. Clearly everyone thought if they were silent, no one would intrude.

When the elevator stopped on the fourth floor, Harvey looked at the window which greeted him. Walking over and looking down he frowned, it was almost the same view Adelaide would have had from her window. Looking at the door next to him, he shook his head. Not that one, perhaps the one next to it though. Walking to it he put his thumb over the peep hole and knocked lightly on the door. There were footsteps, quiet footsteps, from the other side. There was a quiet mutter from the other side. The muttering was female.

"Can you remove your thumb, please?" Harvey smiled lightly and took a step to the side and removed his thumb. There was the sounds of locks being turned and slowly the door opened. A brown haired female poked her head around the door and looked around confused. Harvey was right in her peripheral vision, yet she couldn't see him. Tilting her head she turned slightly. Adelaide's reaction wasn't exactly what Harvey expected it to be. She shut the door. Frowning he knocked again. She didn't open it back up. So he knocked again, this time the door opened slightly and she peeked out. "Harvey?"

"Good evening."

"How?"

"Have you not been watching the news?"

"I switched it off after the mention got broadcasted that there was a breakout." She answered honestly and opened the door more. Nodding backwards she watched as he walked in. "How did you find me?"

"By chance actually." Harvey turned and looked at her. "The woman, she gave a man a good whacking with a rolling pin. I saw you from your window. I was actually just walking down the street trying to find somewhere to hide out."

"You can't stay here," Adelaide said quietly while nibbling on her thumbnail.

"I wasn't going to."
