(Frederick's POV)

I was on my way to pick Lola up from her house, when my phone started ringing

"Hello?" I asked

"Frederick?" I heard someone over the other line

I could tell it was a female by the way her word left her mouth like smooth and warm honey

It sounded familiar

"Yes, who is this" I asked

"It's me....Holly" she said

Then I knew exactly why it sounded so familiar

She was Holly Grath, Debbie's little sister

"Holly?" I asked

"Hi Freddy" she giggled

"Oh Holly, how many times do I have to tell you not to call me that?" I groaned

"It's good to hear from you too" she giggled again

"Sorry, how have you been? I haven't seen you since... Well you know when" I said, taking a deep breath

I pulled over, so that I could talk to her without any distractions

"Yes, I understand. Debbie and Emmets funeral. I just wanted to check on you. it's been so many years, I can't even remember." she said

"Yeah, too long" I whispered

"I've very well. What are you doing?" She asked me

"I'm... Good. Better than before" I told her

"Yeah?" She asked

"Mmh"

"I was actually thinking of visiting. I want to come back home. I don't know for how long, but I can't say that need some distance from this place" she told me

"Why, I thought that you and Mark were doing well?" I asked

"For a while, yes, but things are... difficult now" she said

"Difficult how? He hasn't hurt you, has he? So help me God, if he's laid a hand on you, I will be there in an hour and I promise you that he will-" I started, but she quickly shut me down

"No Freddy, don't worry about that. I was just wondering if I could stay with you for a couple of days?" She asked

"Of course you can, you know how much I care for you. Just tell me when you're coming over and I'll have your room ready" I told her

"Is tomorrow alright?" She asked

"Sure" I smiled

"I'm excited to see you again Frederick" I could hear her smiling from all the way on the other side

"Me too. I actually have something to tell you, but we can wait till tomorrow" I said

"No, don't leave me hanging, tell me. You know how curious I get" she told me

"Yes, I remember" I chuckled

" Then tell me" she said

"Tomorrow, this is an something we should discuss over the phone. I'll see you tomorrow okay" I asked

She huffed and mumbled an okay

"Goodbye Holly" I said

"Bye Freddy" she said and then the line went dead

I couldn't tell her that I was getting married. Especially not over the phone

How was going to tell the little sister of my dead wife that I was remarrying, I didn't know
