Chapter 6 Boss

(Lola's POV)

I woke the next morning with a big head ach, I took my clothes and walked out towards my shower

My mind was made up and I knew that I was going to agree to Fredericks offer

Quickly, I showered and walked out to my bedroom

I had an hour, before I had to be at the hospital, so I was going over to see Frederick

I knew the answer I was going to give him

Not long after I changed, I walked out of my house and towards Frederick's work

In less then 15 minutes, I was parked outside of a huge building

"Wow" I sighed, looking up at it

I walked in and asked for Mr. Grey

They told me to go to the top floor and wait there

Once I was out of the elevator, I walked up to a desk, with a blonde infront of me

"I'm here for Mr. Grey" I told her

"He's busy" she said, rudely

"Alright, then tell him that Lola Gravett came to see him, please" I told her and started walking away

"Lola" I heard someone call from behind me

I turned around to find Frederick, smiling at me

"Hi" I said

"Hey" he smiled again, walking up to me

"Come, we can talk inside my office" he told me

"Oh, but your secretary told me you were busy. I don't want to take you from your work. I don't want you to get into trouble" I told him

He smiled at me and stopped walking

"Trouble with who?" he asked

"Your boss" I told him, in a 'duh' tone

"You really know nothing about me, do you?" he asked, smiling, his perfect smile at me

I blushed and shrugged my shoulders

"Come" he said again, chuckling

"But what about..." I started

"My boss, he won't mind" he promised

I nodded my head and walked in after him

His office was huge and so white and clean. It was gorgeous white tiles on the floor and a beautiful view, down to the street

"So, what can I help you with?" he asked me

"Well, I here, I mean, you said, uh, um you made me an offer-" I didn't know how to word what I was trying to say

"You wanted to make a dissison towards my offer of marriage" he said, formally

"Yeah" I sighed

"And?" he asked

"I'll marry you, but there are conditions" I said, sitting up straighter in my seat

"Okay, what are your conductions" he asked

"We will get married, but there will be nothing sexualy, we will be a happy couple for whoever you want, but behind cameras, we will just be....friends" I said to him

"I agree" he said to me

"You will be my husband, not my owner, so don't expect anything else that isn't a friendship from me. I want you to know that I'm only doing this for my mom, she needs this from me" I said, standing up

"Lola, I know. You're not like the rest of the girls I know. They only care about how they look and what their wearing, you care about the well being of your mother and that's something that not many can say" Frederick said, standing up and walking over infront of me

"No, she's the only person I have left, I don't want to lose her, so if I have to marry you, I will" I sighed

"Well don't sound too exited" he chuckled

"No, I didn't mean it like that, I just....any woman would be flattered to be marrying you" I said, grabbing his hand

"But not you?" he asked, raising his eyebrow

I smiled at him and hugged him

"Friends" I whispard in his ear and started pulling away

"Frederick, you need to si-" I heard the front door open

I pulled away completly from him and turned around

"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt" said an older version of Frederick

"No dad, it's fine. Lola, this is my father, Matt Grey, Father, this is Lola, my fiancé" he said, wrapping his arms around my waist

Oh sweet baby Jesus, this is going to be interesting
