(Frederick's POV)
(2 weeks later)
"Federick, I'm tired of doing this. Your going to be 22 soon. You need to remarry or at least find another purpose in life that isn't sleeping with the next thing that moves" my father yelled
"Dad, how many times do we have to go over this. You said it yourself, I'm going to be 22 years old and I'm going to marry again? Come on, can't I just have some fun?" I groned
"You sound like an 16 year old boy" he snarled, rubbing his forehead with his fingers
"Well that's because at the age of 16, I was already a father" I told him
"And whose fault is that?" He asked me
"No ones, I've never complained about having Emmett in my life" I told him, getting up and looking into eyes
"I didn't mean it like that, I just want you to be more responsible" he told me
"And to be more responsible, I have to get married?" I asked him
He stayed silent, looking down at his hands
"Don't you think I have the right to fall in love, before I get married again. I loved Debbie, but I loved her because she was the mother of my son. Your right, I got her pregnant, when we were 16, we lived together for 3 years, but not once did I love her or look at her as a woman, I simply loved her, because she was the one who gave me the most important thing in this world....my son" I told him
When he didn't say anything, I continued
"I want to make you happy and proud, but I can't do this, I won't be forced into something this important" I told him
"If you don't want to get married, that fine, but don't expect me to just stand by as the news reporters make you out to be the heartless, player. You either straighten up or I'll take the company from you" he said and started walking away
"You can't do that, I'm the one who made this company possible" I yelled after him
"Maybe, but you used my money to get this far" he said and walked out of my office
"Damn it" I growled
I sat back down and turned my chair around, looking outside
Then I heard my phone start ringing
"Hello?" I asked, not recognizing the number
"Um, Frederick?" I heard a shy voice ask
"Yes, who is this?" I asked
"Oh, right, it's Lola" the girl said over the phone
"Lola?" I asked, scratching my chin
"The girl that saved you in the ally" she said slowly
"Oh, right, Lola. I'm sorry, how are you? What can I do for you?" I asked her
"Umm, I have something that belonges to you" she said to me
"What is it?" I asked her, sitting up
"Remember when we first met at the Starbucks?" she asked me
Before I could answer, my door was knocked on
"Come in" I said
"I'm sorry?" Lola asked
"No not you, hold on" I said, harsher then I wanted it to sound
"O-kay" she said
"What do you need?" I asked Brenda
