Amethyst felt as if her heart broke, this wasn't his fault. She chose to do this to herself, it was her decision therefore it was her fault.
This is the last thing she wanted to do, she didn't want to hurt him.
If her being here is hurting him then when she leaves, he'll finally be at peace.
Elijah won't have to worry about her anymore, he'll move on and eventually find someone else.
Someone that isn't her, someone that's perfect and beautiful.
He deserved better.
Soon he'll get over her, she'll be nothing but a memory.
