The Moon

Once brought fear to my mind

Of night creatures, any kind

I'd spend my days in the sun

Running on the beach, having fun

One day my neck was bitten

By someone that had me smitten

I awaken as a night creature

Fangs and hunger my new feature

I walked the street that night

Looking for a neck to bite

The moon is shining up the sky

As a young girl catches my eye

I grab her gently by the arm

A pulse beating fast and warm

As I move her closer in

Placing my hand around her chin

I sink my fangs into her skin

And feel her life drain within

The moonlight is fading slow

Off to my bed I go
