Hunger

Dark and broody

Though not moody

His eyes met mine

Our thoughts entwine

He moves near

And touches my ear

A smile comes to his lips

He places his hands on my hips

His eyes of blue

I hadn't a clue

Suddenly the room spun round

I saw my body on the ground

He left me lying there

This vampire without a care

As I rise toward the sky

A single tear drops from his eye

Though his hunger this time did win

His humanity fights from deep within
