A Stolen Smile

I have lost my smile

My lover took it for a while

That nights love making wasn't the best

As he sunk his teeth into my chest

I lay there writhing in pain

As he smiled while opening up his vein

As his blood seeped through my lips

I felt it surge into my hips

Feeling neither cold or warm

I wanted to do him harm

He looked at me, I felt his fear

While he was changing into mist to disappear

Spending my nights taking their last breath

Never bringing life, only death

The last of my soul screaming in pain

I didn't want to feed again

I could no longer live with what I'd done

So I sat outside awaiting the sun

Slowly a smile came on my face

As I blew into dust and left this place
