Chapter 10: A Hero Lies in You & Commencement Week Part 5

Friday at Glee club practice:

"OK guys, first of all, I just want to say I love you all and I'm proud of all of you. Especially you seniors. You've completed an incredible journey, and I just want to wish you all well in your future endeavors." Will said. "I only wish Scott were here. It's graduation day and I haven't heard from him all week." Kitty said sadly. "Don't worry Kit. He'll be back." Marley said, trying to encourage her fiancee. "I'm already here." a voice said entering the choir room. It was Scott! "Scott!" Kitty said crying happy tears. Kitty & Scott immediately pulled into a heartfelt embrace. "I'm sorry." Kitty said. "No, it's me who should apologize. I'm sorry." Scott replied. "I'm sorry too." Kitty said. "For what?" Scott said. "That you had to deal with whatever pain or guilt you had alone. You didn't say anything. I could have helped you." "I thought I could handle it on my own. I shouldn't have tried to shut you out. I was afraid I would hurt you. I was wrong and I'm sorry." Scott said. "I'm just glad you're OK. I'm also glad you're here." Kitty said smiling. "Me too, but don't worry, I'm back, and I'm here to stay." Scott replied. "What made you come back Scott?" Spencer asked. "Two people talked the guts into me. More importantly, they not only gave me a reality check, but they made me see how much I've touched other people's lives. Not only that, I look around and I see more than just friends and family. I see people whose lives have changed for the better. I know that they all will turn out OK, because I had a hand in that." Bree began to cry, and walked up to Scott and gave him a warm embrace. "You've touched so many lives, including mine. You're an inspiration to us all." "You're more than an inspiration Scott, you're a hero." Will said. "Really?" Scott asked. With that, the Glee club girls began to sing:

"I'd like to sing with Kurt." "Sure." Kurt said. "Take it away guys." Will instructed. Kurt & Tina stood up together and began to sing:
