Hermione is sent every single letter from Cedric that had been intercepted the previous year by McGonagall after she notices how upset and different Hermione had been acting. She received almost two months worth of letters.
Hermione sends Cedric a letter telling him to meet her in the courtyard at midnight so they can chat. She decides to take him back, but tells him she wants to go slowly, and wants to regain a sense of who she is and what they are.
