It's time we learn about paulidays.
Paulidays-holidays.
Each pauliday sounds exactly the same, for the most part. They all are said in these forms:
Goo Year= New Year
Beatletine's Day= Valentine's Day
St Macca's Day= St Patrick's Day
Beatlester= Easter
Beatlependence Day= Independence Day (4th of July)
Beatleween= Halloween
Backsgiving (because of Get Back!!)= Thanksgiving
The only exception to this pattern is Christmas. Due to the many Christmas records that the Beatles released, many terms and phrases were coined from them, and we've already discussed some of them in a previous lesson. But for now, listen to the following records and see if you can notice what they have in common:
Oh, I just Beatle that video so much 😍
So, here the rules for Christmas, since they technically did say it normally for a while, but I am going off of their first Christmas record, so therefore:
Crimble= Christmas
Merry Happy/Gerry Crimble= Merry Christmas (both work, say the one you want)
Paul, quite strange rules, but it works in the context of a Beatlemaniac.
If you are a Beatlemaniac, you may already see this coming. If you are a Beatlese speaker, we count the anniversaries of John and George's deaths as paulidays, because these legends deserve to be remembered. On these days, we listen to their music and their music only and release our emotions in peace, not caring about what the idiots say. Also, if you want to go above and beyond to mourn over our lost legends, don't talk. That way, you can enclose yourself completely in your love and affection for these sweet boys. We also count their birthdays as major paulidays, because of course they are! When our little legends were born, that's special! Throw a party on their birthdays or at least listen to nothing but their music to celebrate.
Did I miss a certain pauliday? If so, feel free to add others and turn them into Beatlese paulidays!
