Sheppard was fainting.
He was bleeding everywhere!
He then heard the sound of footsteps.

The prone body of Jason Voorhees remained still.
Sheppard moved forward.

He died in agony from massive blood loss, as well as the machete wound.
And, after Jason buried the body of the intruder, he stalked back to his dilapidated shack in the creepy woods, and closed the rotting, silver colored door, and went to bed.
