Alex's POV:
He takes the papers from my hands and looks over them. I can't help but stare.
What were the odds that it would be the same person I saw at the doctor's office yesterday to be applying for the driver job?
His dark brown hair was fluffy and curly, it was also messy like he had rushed his hands threw it a few times. I swore I had never met this Man before until yesterday, but, something about him made me feel comfortable. He looks up and I meet his gaze. Those icy blue eyes looked so familiar.
I was being pulled in with that warm gaze... I snap out of my thoughts when he speaks
"I'm more than happy to accept the job offer. I can definitely work full time that is no problem" he says with a smile
"Mr.., Uh sorry what's your-" he cuts me off
"Wilson. Liam Wilson" he answers
"Mr. Wilson, where were you working previously?" I ask him
He hesitated for a second before answering my question
"Uh well, you see I never had a permanent destination where I worked but moved from place to place. I mostly did events and would pick up different people. I never worked for one specific household" he answers
"Alright, so you don't have a problem staying in one place? If you were to work here full time.."
"No mam, as I said before, it's no problem. It's something a bit new for me and I would like to move to something more, permanent" he answers
Alright..to be honest, I was kind of lost with this convo...
"Well then Mr. Wilson, welcome to the team, it will be a pleasure working with you," I say as I shake his hand
"The pleasure is all mine," he says with a smile and grabs my hand
As soon as we make contact, I feel a shiver go down my spine. I pull back quickly and try to shake it off. His touch felt so familiar, his soft and warm hands made me feel different.
Whoa. Alex. SNAP OUT OF IT!!
"Would you like a tour of the place?" I ask as I stand up trying to shake out all these crazy thoughts in my head
"That would be great" he answers and follows me out of the living room
I give him a small tour of the mansion and introduce him to the other employees including Molly and explain to him my working schedule.
He seemed a bit odd but it wasn't something one would worry about. It was just something about him that seemed...different. Unique.
"And lastly, this used to be my husband's room," I say pointing to the closed door that used to be Ace's room. I close my eyes for a brief moment. Its been a whole year yet it still felt like yesterday when everything happened.
